Zeneger: Thanks for your reply. ;) racing clutch, dun have gua....hehe. actually i just brought over the car fewdays ago. so do not not what is the existing clutch, the previous owner say is just normal clutch. but the gear box is short ratio 1 lah...cos when at 5th gear RPM 3K the speed was around 95km/h only. normal should be around 110kmh rite? i think the extrctor is the original mivec, what i mean is the muffer like those wira 1.8 muffer. hehe, sorry, what is 4-1-2-3 ??? :P i suspect the exhaust system bcos 1 of my fren say that the exhaut flow not smooth wor... what kind of muffer u guys used for the mivec? i'm looking for those with the minimun sound level or more solid base when it was at the low RPM. :rolleyes: Thanks. :D [/b][/quote] What i got from ur info, i suspect u r not using Mivec Gb. When u give the info 3krpm 5th gear at 95kmh. That is consider long ratio, like those 1.6sohc and 1.8dohc gb they r running 3krpm 5th at 110kmh. For original mivec gb u should be at 80-85km(sometimes meter not 100% accurate) on 5th gear 3krpm. Like wat u said could be rite maybe ur exhaust piping and muffler is too small will cost u some of this problem. If u wan min sound look for those big muffler like original mivec muffler but u need bigger than that. I m using RSR gt-2 not quite. Most of them here using loud bcos if u drive mivec or vtec u would chose a louder 1 once the mivec kick in u can hear mivec sound. |

is that got any muffler is quite on normal cruising & loud when mivec kick in. :blink:

Just wanted to check just in case get ripped off by foreman/supplier/parts ... etc. I spose RM10k budget should get us a decent setup engine/brakes/suspension and mayyyyybe rim/tyre package. |
