hi bro..

i heard GSR 1.8 disc and proton 1.8 disc can fit to mivec's .. size.. well im not sure... its better u get mivec's or gsr.. better for performance..

yeah thats y i m not happy with the result. If with good tuning max power can reach 7800 to 8000krpm. MY campulley problem have not tune proberly. Fuel too rich at 7000krpm onwards. Too low before mivec kick in. But anyway Ah loon have tune a ecu for me tonight going to test it.
 
He tune the MINES for u? Let me know the result...
Me just change new MMC gearbox mounting, lower arm and retune clutch and gearbox. now have to skim the flywheel. So, thinking to send for lightening. btw, my mech recommend me to install SARD fuel preassure regulator,what's your opinion??

Ah loon just put 2x 306 hi cam today afternoon ready !! cant wait to sit beside him.

Skim Flywheel i would suggest not to do that, If u wan pickup look for those good 1 racing performance. IF u skim when hill claiming like go genting u feel like craying lah bro.

Those more technical i cant answer Ah loon is ur turn here answer the following !!

to behonest my personal goal is 175hp without HI-cam and management ecu.

u meant like toda flywheel? hmm.. will consider it..need to do price survey.

u can sms/call me anytime for TT. but make sure u give early notice as i might still at office at night.

N1 Racing Rm100 Dyno Hp and AFR. Must go for dyno so that u got certificate mah bro. Then u know how to tune ur engine. I plan to dyno again after i have done my piping, Fuel pump. I might consider to put hi cam. Must know before and after

nizam,

1.8 mivec setup wont cause the driveshaft/mounting easy to koyak. It's the exedy 3-puck racing clutch that shorten the life of those driveshaft and mounting.

:D. i did change the driveshaft few times (especially the right side) eversince I change to that clutch. It's because of the excessive force that being distribute to those shafts when you release the clutch in splitsecond for better launching. Its also effect the mounting, especially gearbox mounting.

FYI, i've changed the mounting rubber early last year, not proton OE, but from Japan (chopshop). That time my mech offer me those evo mounting, very2 hard. Did test in my car, i can feel the engine vibrate when I stop at the traffic light. So I change back to normal type.

So the best solution, get LSD gearbox. At least that LSD can help to channel the excessive force evenly throughout the left/right driveshaft.

Stick to that clutch. If you change back to normal type, no more joy already.

As for the FPR, you can buy either SARD/Arrowspeed/FSE/etc as long as it can regulate the fuel/increase fuel pressure. Better get those with gauge for easy tune. Will improve your engine performance.

Dont skim your flywheel. you'll lose the top end power. With lighter flywheel, RPM is easier to climb up, AND easier to go down as well. If you really want to use light flywheel, get JUN 4.2kg (if i'm not mistaken) flywheel. Cost around RM1.5k

Damn, really miss that car :(, now got my perdana already, still stock standard.

What kind of exhaust good for Mivec 1.6 manual?

when i was driving the car at certain speed, i try to maintain the speed (80-120), the engine will run not smooth, the engine was just like wanna die off..... (like when the throttle & clutch is not balance).... in chinese say "chok har chok har" malay say "Sangkut abit"
when i accelerate abit it will back to normal....is that due to the exhaust problem? my current exhaust is like those wira 1.8 twin tips 1.

any sifu can help me? :(

DO u have racing clutch ? like u said "chok har chok har" i guess u might have other technical problem instead of extractor ! For ex "fuel pump" or plug cable head the one at 4-1-2-3 (not the black plug cable) i forgot wat they call the thing.

Best mivec Extractor the best would Cusco 4-2-1 cost about Rm1.2k come with downpipe and flexible.
Good mivec extractor will ur original mivec extractor, that is good enof btw where is urs u said u used 1.8 ? Those original 1.8 extractor u can throw away !!

I know... i wont change back to ori clutch..might upgrade it to full racing spec only :D... LSD gearbox?? expensive la....
the flywheel, i need to skim it anyway coz sudah rosak due to my first time own a monster... or maybe due to jammed everyday, i keep balance the clutch and accelarator pedal.so, first gear now slipped...
or maybe i go and buy flywheel mivec flywheel at chop shop.

no lah jun cam no budget. Matspeed got cam up to 306 degree cost about 1xxx. Well not conquer lah as u can see in KL i personally friend who drive mivec really fast. I just try to build a faster car only. Atleast there is some mivec can kick vtec and some turbo car. Last time i used to have a friend who drive mivec kick alot vtec,vr4,1.8gsr. But is a goal, but this goal cost alot $$ i dunno is it worth it to do that anot.
