i saw alot woh, most of them are damn lansi ah !!!! their look .... hai !!! mine mivec no faster enough woh !! mivec open RPM 5500 but vtec open RPM 5000 leh,
i haven open dia sudah pergi .. and my damn wira body ... damn heavy !!! u guys convert the mivec engine into wira ah ??

hmm.............. open at rpm 5000....high rev out till 9000 for vtecs, whereas mivec open at 5500, n max out around 8200-8500, hmm indeed this is a bit difficult, guess really need bro zeneger liao :) hehehhe

well fren.. there are std mivec gbox comes with LSD in halfcut.. but you know what.. if chop shop ppl find out about it.. they will take LSD out and sell seperately.. like that make more money mah.. ;)
however.. there are some .. if u lucky enuf.. to get a mivec gbox with LSD lar.. especially from halfcut.. :D

Where got Vtec open at 5000rpm ? Unless they used vtec controller to on earlier. But i tell if those vtec open earlier is all loussy. Good mivec or vtec should kickin at about 5800rpm if they have hi-cam the high end power is crazy. If u wanna win vtec u must have strong torque like. Means mivec can cut vtec during low end, but when come to high end power they r crazy. Especially on 3rd gear when vtec rev from 7000-8500rpm. If u wanna win vtec easily go uphill genting. U win bcos of the torque.

its just unlucky that mitsubishi do not develope mivec a lot.. they concentrate more on turbo.. thats why mivec performance parts difficult to get... :(
but vtec .. its the pride of Honda.. so they really R&D it .. so lots of parts.. so powerfull oso.. :blink:

but cheer up.. at least mivec gives us an option for those who dont want turbo engine (for many reason.. high maintenance lar, minyak kuat lar, too fast lar.. etc) but better performance than standard engine.. :) especially... for us who only can afford malaysian cars and maintain it with cheap parts... (potong kereta mah :lol: ) .. Honda parts a lot but expensive eiii...

so be happy.. :D

a fren of mine bought EG few years back.. wanted badly to mod.. but after few years.. still no enuf $$$ to transplant v-tec.. at last.. sell car.. get satria.. put in mivec.. and he's happy with it..

is it all the standed mivec those are high-cam ? and if i get the LSD gearbox do i need the change the clucth ? hai, abit mafan leh ! if i change this thing and i have to change other thing .....
seem i really have to keep hardworking to learn from u guys !!!! i still a new mivec kaki !! every tai ko .... please take care sai lou woh thanks :blink:

[/b][/quote] mine is 1.8 (4g93) MIVEC... not so fast like zeneger's monster,coz still virgin..... now saving money for hi-cam.. silver cover?? which cover? if u talking about mivec cover, it si silver..but the head cover is black... :D me also new in mivec..just drive this car for 2nd month... before this play honda..but no money to convert to vtec.... hehehhehe

stended mivec is already high cam mah.. compared to normal engine.. coz mivec is high lift cam system.. same with v-tec.. :D thats why u see RPM meter redline at 8250 rpm .. normal enjin 6.5k or 7k red line edi.. :D

if u change gbox.. can use back old clutch.. if it not worn lah.. but if bad shape edi.. better change.. u feel more syyiiookk with mivec gbox and oso new clutch.. hmm dare to get racing 3 kaki punya?.. syiok.. :P

If u like to play drag racing clutch is needed triangle clutch. But racing clutch very Stiff when come to traffic ur leg will struggling. But very shoik racing clutch damn shock...

for zeneger ok la.... coz everyday u go to gym.. like me now my leg not simetry anymore.... my left leg now fit rather than my right leg...hehehe ..
but i test drive one mivec using mmc clutch plate.. not syiok at all... fell like driving stock satria....

both version got come with LSD n Non LSD ..........

Spec : 1st 3.083
2nd 1.947
3rd 1.285
4th 0.939
5th 0.756

Final Drvie : 4.592


One more thing .... mivec standard lose to VTEC just bcoz of the 3rd gear ratio ..... vtec have better 3rd 1.325 around that lar ..... but when mivec 2nd gear shift point to 3rd ... u will feel a bit delay powerband and torque .... VTEC wont happen this .... so if u really want to play with VTEC 2nd gear u need to rev until 8700rpm to prevent the delay .... .

Ken .... add Noel in the list .... he is coming too ...
