check your fuel regulator....if stock one maybe its release the fuel presure so quick...standard 24 hour still got presure...if aftermarket some of them also release the presure quick...so when all fuel already return tu the tank ..when you are crank the engine it take time for the fuel pump to pump in the petrol....
 
well that the cheapers solution you can try it out...find new/used fuel regulator...if used one last time i got it for RM20 and it solved my problem...:D ......

they have the device to screw inside to ur plug hole ....... with disable the ignition controller .... then they will crank to have the compression amount ..... continue with all the piston lor .....

anyway ken car is on the way to convert to 1.8 mivec ...... hopefully everything fine for him .....
 
oh like that ka... hm.. there's a mech says he can onli hear it and know its low compression.. :blink: i oso dunno.. maybe experience... :)

serious ah... what size piston ler? me also going to do it.. just thinking what type of piston should i go for only. Damn scare "booOooM".. any suggestion guys?

he said going to use 1.6single cam piston .... compression was a bit high ..... so need to use 0.8mm metal gasket to lower the compression ....
 
hmmm.. wah like that my gasket can throw liao lor.. 0.5mm or less ler im using. maybe i go look for some other piston to fit it.
 
but can use gsr piston oso right?.. or ford 1.8 piston.. or even mitsu 1.8 piston.. oversize 80mm or something?.
 
wah so fast spread my news already.

i just got my car yesterday. Hard to drive engine vibration when 1.5krpm to 2krpm using 2-3-4rd gear. But idling no problem no more vibration while at 1.2krpm. But need to run in lah piston ring still new. Got funny sound came out from my left back when crusing 80kmh or higher like miss firing sound. But my exhaust is at right side not sure isit sound came from chasis or wat ?
Much more better Torque i can switch gear faster....

wat u mean climbing ??? rpm i found lower rpm for ex if normally i drive with 3krpm at 5th gear my speed is about 80kmh. But using 1.8 now is at 90kmh. i cant rev higher cost still running in for 1k Km.
 
oh.. i forgot u still running in.. what i mean is how fast the RPM climbs..

ppl said that 1.6 mivec RPM climb faster compared to 1.8 mivec.. i dunno why but maybi coz the stroke is longer..

so i dunno how's yrs.. but still running in.. so kenot rev kau-kau.. hehhe :D
 
:) hi everyone, can i ask about my car standard 1.6 mivec wanna upgrade to 1.8(4g93) mivec (all original wiring and ecu) ,izzit need to change the original injector?if need ,which injector will be the best ?thank you :)
