i'm confused. I was changing plug cables yesterday. i normally take note which one is the Cylinder #1, #2 and the rest. but yesterday i forgot. I was confused as in to determine which is plug number 1 , is it the first from left or from right.
i just gave a shot and followed accordingly (4,1,2,3) connecting the plug to the power tr unit by referring 1st plug from left as plug # 1 . and fired the ignition and slam the gas pedal. voila! the engine runs as normal. but i wasnt satisfied.
i changed orientation. now i refer 1st plug from right as plug no 1 which made the far left plug as plug no 4. and i went on connecting those cables accordingly. i switched on the engine and voila! it worked too! no problem, jerking, misfire at all for both orientation.
so which one is plug no 1? far left or far right? what are worst thing to expect if the current plug orientation i'm using now is wrong?
