dun understand wat u trying to ask ??
mivec relay needed ? when using vafc ?

R u still using normal 4G93 wiring n ECU ? then add on n modify the vafc to control the MIVEC system ? is this the setup background u r having ?

If yes, sorry not much idea on this, but heard many cases where problems happen....but usually if entire wiring system uses MIVEC wiring n ECU, using vafc should be pretty clear cut.

As for the instllation manual ? erm....I think a 1.8 Hybrid setup is very very unconventional, not really having a thorough installation guide, maybe just based on your mechanic know how....

sorry if i din provide much....

from what i know, installing VAFC should work fine for a Mivec engine BUT u need an adapter to make the things (MIVEC engagement point) work because the thing is meant for VTEC engine. correct me if i'm wrong. normally ppl wud install SAFC alone coz the adapter alone wud cost about rm250 (from SpeedWork) if i'm not mistaken. to change the Mivec engagement point, ppl wud use s'thing else like R-spec Mivec/Vtec controller or using shift light or something alike.

there's no wiring guide for VAFC on the Apexi website but I've compared the wiring schematic for SAFC on Mivec engine with VAFC on Vtec engine. Looks simple but tricky. those with electircal backgorund should have no problem installing it.
try here:

good luck.
