BTW, an article submitted by who also I can't remember..... stated the adverse effect of putting lighten CRANK pulleys. It distorts the original "Harmonic Frequency" of the car. In the article he brought us to notice, the slightest change in harmonic frequency distrupts the whole harmonic balance of the engine. U must read it to undertstand. It is in car modification forum AFAI remember..

Also, in that article, it showed the cross section of a CRANK pulley. If I see it right - there is rubber in it. Lazarus you are a genius!

So I am almost 100% sure that I'll be needing an original spec Mivec Crank Pulley..... hmmm.......

If u have lighten too much on ur crank pulley, or crank Shaft ?

Should have heavy vibration on engine when high RPM. Shitttt change crank shaft alot work to do i suggest change ur block as well get gsr or putra block cos u need to touch CP down there. Labour charge also expensive !! Dun simply lighten ur crank shaft is easier to blown engine on top speed, But over all performance is lighter also too risky to do that and not reliable !!!

lighten CS might as well do engine blueprinting lor...
will coz you a bomb...last time powerzone quote me RM3500~RM5500 for blueprinting mivec 4G92...fuiiyoooo ...juts to lighthen and balancing the crank shaft and piston rod and other neccessary parts to replace if require

hai guys.. its been a while.. i think there's no such thing as 2 stage.. onli that.. we have to find the so called sweet spot at what RPM for mivec to kick in.. it depends on mods and power band.. mivec opens too early or too late would caused u dearly.. off course.. stended opening is at 5500.. if u mod.. then its different a bit alreadi.. :D

pls correct me guys.. its just my 2 cents.. :D

mivec taiko, my RPM meter reach 3800 @ 110km/h is this normal ar?
coz i think normal car only reach around RPM3200+- @ 110km/h right?
I never mod the gear ratio b4...all stock stock wan....

could it be the RPM meter lari already? coz my rev cut at RPM 8100(my meter panel also redline at RPM 8100)so the rev cut is gam gam the meter niddle reach RPM 8100 :o

i guess ur meter is CHer KAI lor. My digital meter show me 80KMH when i m 3krpm. If u talking about 110kmh should be at 4krpm or more. But this is not 100% accurate also depends on ur car weight.

Worst come to worst ur GB is not mivec when u said 8.2krpm rev cut this is bcos of gear ratio make the diff ,like u said nromal car at 3krpm at 110kmh bcos they have a longer gear ratio super save fuel for long travel distance.

If u using original ecu should cut at about 8.5krpm.....
