Guys feel free to check it out here. There is a funny guy said mivec+4g93 block can only produce 120hp !! IT he said that 1.6 has higher hp then 1.8. OMG somemore the site is from worldwide that guy from KL malulah. Check out wat SAMKRY said

can i know, ur mivec is 1.8 4G92 + 4G93 rite ? do u go to JPJ to approve it ? is that illegal ? i herad my friend from taiwan... the taiwanese they used to add the the turbo into their mivec ! and 3000 rpm open turbo.. untill 5500 rpm cut turbo and open mivec !!??? is that prosibble to do that !!
and what i need to start to mordify for my mivec 1.6 ? cos mine is standed mive .. and donno where to start mordify ! i still new ..

wow.........turbo open 1st then only mivec open....very gud concept... but i think certainly need some tuner to do this with some haltech or likewise....

btw.. i'm selling of my tanabe racing exhaust(muffler only).. coz looking for more silent type... anyone interested? or maybe anyone can recommend for good muffle? was thiniking to get HKS N1, twin tip 2.5" tip,fgk or custom made one.. need to hear opinion from u guyz..

Tiu lei ar ken since when i mention 1.8 mivec GB? I mean if normal mitsu 1.6/1.8 engine gearbox installed on a mivec engine will give u 5th gear 95kmh at 3kRPM. If u are using a mivec gearbox with or w/o LSD gives u 5th gear 85kmh at 3kRPM only. I said u convert to ur mivec to 1.8 block ler.. not gearbox ler.. anyway i should be coming tomolo.. we talk tomolo..hehe

u mean normal gearbox is better than mivec gearbox?

One more thing .... mivec standard lose to VTEC just bcoz of the 3rd gear ratio ..... vtec have better 3rd 1.325 around that lar ..... but when mivec 2nd gear shift point to 3rd ... u will feel a bit delay powerband and torque .... VTEC wont happen this .... so if u really want to play with VTEC 2nd gear u need to rev until 8700rpm to prevent the delay .... .

and also final drive ler.. i heard v-tec even got 4.7 final drive :blink: right ah loon sifu?..

no wonder mivec kalah.. but its ok.. be happy.. :)

bro.. both codes are for mivec.. its code for mivec g/box mah.. :D

and stended factory mivec onli have 1.6cc and 2.0cc .. no such thing as 1.8cc mivec UNLESS .. u mod the block.. :D

bro.. 1.8 mivec u must register coz block number has change.. from 4G92 to 4G93 .. its against the law if u dont register with JPJ .. also insurance thingy.. will couse u trouble when claim..

about about approval.. this issue is a bit complicated.. they look into your base engine cc .. i mean the original satria cc.. :)

about mivec turbo.. ppl have been doing it for some time edi.. but its hard to tune.. but if u get the setting then syyiiook.. however.. some says it cannot last long one.. coz its extreme mod edi.. :)

im using FGK with twin tip.. bought 2nd hand tough.. but get it in chop shop from mirage mivec car.. plug and play.. :)

very quiet in idling.. not too loud.. ok lar.. nice.. :)

Nizam,
Not to say normal gearbox is better. In a sense is better coz much fuel saving coz lower REV on high speed. But Mivec gearbox ratio closer so can give a better power band and makes ur car pickup speed MUCH faster. Thats from my exprerience ler. :)

can someone tell me how can i find out my mivec engin is from CB4A , CJ4A, CK4A, CC4A or CA4A.. ????cos is different type different year..all LSD gearbox is different !!! please help me ....

Hi..guys
I just put mivec on my engine bay..but having some braking problem.
When i put an emergency brake... my front brake on the co-pilot ..its very gigit one.but on my driver side.it late to gigit road..
I just change the brake pad and service the brake piston but this problem still happen lor... :wacko: ....pening already..anywan can help me??
