Please comment "OCT"

I bought Oil Catch Tank 2 months ago and planning to install in my SEG 1.6 EFi 16 valve next week..but yesterday i got feedback from my fren that OCT is not worth it to install in my engine...:Not_Impressed: Is that OCT only for Silver or black top engine? so I need sifu's or anyone to give me a comment or feedback about this problem. tq

no such thing that oil catch tank is for specific engine. it can clean your intake manifold and throttle body in the long run. so, it's more like a good practise to have one. Since you already bought one, might as well you install it.

OCT can put on any engine

Yalo u should install it into ur engine. So that ur manifold cleaner also mar.. I think..

can DIY... easy nia.. but u need the hose paip la...
If you want it more easy, i think u bring ur car to accessory car to done it lor. I'm sure it not expensive also.:_:

Want nice expensive look, buy silicone hose. Want cheap job, buy gas hose from hardware store.

- Take out engine breather hose,
- install oil catch tank in desired location
- cut hose to desired length, from breather to OCT, from OCT you could just have a short hose facing down to engine bay or none at all. You could get those cheap micro air filters. Looks nice only. No function. hahaha.
- install hose clips

Last weekend went to accessories shop at puchong..still dunno to install..then go to Brothers (No 1 M'sia) but also dunno to install..fedup oledi

I think this week i want to DIY..but i hope you guys can show me which hose to take out and to install. Attached is my 4AFE engine bay..pls ..tq
