sry to interupt. need advice on mivec gbox from u guys. i'm planning to change my non-LSD mivec gb to LSD one. so, can i use my current non-LSD drive shaft for the LSD gbox? all help appreciated. cheers

1. can i know how to remove the speed cut and rev cut of this engine(4G92). iz Rsm Meter can do this?

2. can i use another computer box for this engine? or add v-afc ? which way is more cost-effective?

3. anyone can tell me d top speed of this engine(no modification)? 0-100km?(no modification). i heard that this engine can produce 175bhp but after dyno, just leave 140bhp something.

4. How to differentiate whether the gear box is LSD or Non-LSD. 1.5 way or full lock? anyone can help me?

1. if u want to remove speed cut and rev cut .. u can install RSM.. it will help u to run over 180 km/h ..
2. u can install vafc on ur mivec, it can control ur mivec kick in early ...
3.top speed !! don know woh .. maybe u have to try it by urself. the mivec engine produce 175hp thats rite, but onec the car on wheel sure will reduce hp..
4. regarding lsd-.. sorry cant help u .. cos im not sure about it .
 
speed cut can do with cut 2 wire only..no need install any component or u can install speed cut defencer(low budget than RSM), LSD ? I oso wanna know what diffence, bcoz i am using now, but dun know what special of that gearbox.. any 1 can tell me..
dude, how much u do dyno? and where u did it? any 1 mind to share?

LSD=LIMITED SLIP DIFFRENTIAL....mainly use in 4wd...power of da sliped wheel be transferred from front to back or back to front/right to left or left to right depending on which wheel dat is slips...easy to say power is transfered to da less slip wheel...btw u can feel(LSD OWNER) da diffren when taking sharp coner and drag launching...currently black top or rs will get da LSD gearbox..make sure b4 ur buy da mivec enjin ask 4 da gear box..sumtin they just give u da normal 1.8 gear box..no power n pick up but good in long distance...btw lsd is better 4 launching (PICK UP) n cornering n also lessens ur slips...really u can feel da dfrent between lsd n normal one...so lsd is recmended...better 4 daily use n durable...tq
 
to different lsd there is 3 way. 1st drag 2nd jet up ur front turn 1 side wheel and observe opposite side, if both wheel are turning mean is a lsd. 3rd cornering u can feel knocking from ur fron wheel. IF u still cannot different let me drive ur car for 1 round i will tell u then.

need some advice here : if the MIVEC head cover leaking n need to change the gasket ! can i buy it from any spare part shops ? well as u all know there is a TWO wire goin into the head/cam side does the gasket comes wit the hole/fixtures ?

anyone hav change this gasket n how much its costs n pls if dont mind advice me ! thanks !
 
The Different of LSD ...

There are 3 type of LSD ....

1st ... 1 way Lsd .... normally is for less wheel spin ... mainly for straight line drag ... not suitalbe for track use ... becoz once u go inside corner ... u always need to control the throttle ... if u just release the throttle the car will automatically power sliding.......n the sound is very obvious while cornering ... u will feel that the car very desperate .... or aggressive ..

2nd.... 1.5way .... main for cornering use ... much more easy to handle the car ... some sort of like a traction control while inside a corner ....

3rd ... 2way Lsd... very good in cornering ... even beginner also know how to go for high speeding corner ..... superb handling ... ez to drive .. no sound at all in slow corner or U-turn ...
 
Speed Cut Removal ...

Regarding Speed cut removal .... my best recommend is to use Pivot speed meter or u have the budget then anything u like ....

But dun ever think that cutting the speed sensor wire ... Main reason is ... the ecu cant read ur speed intensity ...... once it cant read ... it will automatically go to secondary Map inside the ecu .... power will lose in high end ......

Inside the ecu .... Map is running with .... KMH vs RPM .... And Load Vs RPM ....

so no recommend to cut lor.......
 
Mivec Controller ....

About Mivec Controller ..... i think that is a useless device ..... unless u r 1.8Mivec or u have apply JUN or Matspeed HighCam under the hood.....

5200rpm is the best Mivec activation point for 1.6mivec .... earlier than that will lost out kick In or Gforce pull power..... and the powerband curve will end up more earlier ...... like .. u open at 4500rpm ... so ur max rev and power will end up to 7000rpm or 7400rpm ......

For Jun or Matspeed HighCam ... 5800rpm is more suitable for it ..... becoz ... the cam degree is too obvious .. so if with 5200rpm mivec kick in ... the power will drop like no power ....and suddenly until 5800rpm then the power kick in .....

For 1.8mivec ..... u can select any rpm to kick in .... this becoz the torque of 1.8 is very high ... so there are no problem for the powerband ..... best set up is 4500rpm for drag and 5000rpm for daily driving ....
 
Top Speed ......

Top speed for 1.6mivec original with speed cut removed ...... i tried to get 227kmh ..with rev at 7k++ rpm....

Top speed for 1.8mivec ezily get 230kmh ... it just depend u dare to drive so fast or not .....

0-100 for 1.6mivec ... sorry i dunno ... but for figure ... is almost same to B18C type R ....
 
Valve Cover Gasket ....

For anybody that wish to change their valve cover gasket and cannot manage to get the stock ... just give me a ring .....

Original Mivec valve cover gasket ..... from Japan ..... RM100 per piece ....

Regarding the 2 way lsd u juz mention,where can i get it?
From mivec gearbox or aftermarket?
Then is there any changes in the drive shaft or juz use back the mivec ori one.
Btw my gearbox is running perfectly now thanks.

i'm just cvrt my wira 1.3 to 1.6 mivec doch but don,t know wat type....
don,t test yet but fell like more power than b4..
