ah loon tyco, then what's the lsd that come with mivec gen 1(the 1 with sound when in slow corner)? :emoticon_U:

Very2 rare...... usually people will only sell with gearbox.
Not sure recon or brand new but comes with plastic and box.

now my setup is using a SAFCII but is it good if i use e-manage(not ultimate)??i mean is it better than SAFCII??any idea here pls let me know...any one here tried b4??
 
Henryfong sory can i ask you is the 4g94 crank can rev to 11ooo rpm or not or 10000 rpm !!:regular_smile:
 
wow 11000rpm? can fly lah....

Alex, emanage can do more setting than SAFC.MOTEC or Haltech can do more setting than emanage .... if u got money,sure no prob...
 
if using drop in air filter, then cut a hole at air box & fix in CAI
izzit ok?
for the drop in air filter k&n or pipercross better?

Hi All,

I'm a newbie. I'm driving a stock Satria Mivec (1.6). Hope i can join the Mivec Club and meet all da Mivec Si Fu's. Would like to share some ideas on how to mod my car, what is da cost and so on. I've been reading few threads and it seems to be fun to join all you guys. I would love to join any TT so that we can be friends and share a lot of things. I hope i'm welcomed. Thanks guys.

* I recently overhauled my car coz da engine is screwed up. It cost me almost RM4000 to do up my car (Overhaul + re-wiring). My car is still in the workshop sumwer in Puchong. As for me, the power of the car seems to be the same and i would really appreciate if any tailo's who can help me out....

Dun even think about that ..... 11k for mivec ..how much u going to spend on that .... what kind of cam u going to use ..... what type of management u going to use .... can u manage to get oversized valve ..... can u get super low friction piston and ring ... .. what engine bearing u use ..... and what petrol ron u going to use ler .....

this are a ton of money .... if u really affort the amount ... the car can only drive in track .... street totally cannot drive ..

4g94 stroke too long ... piston speed to stroke are totally out of figure .....

but ... from wat i know b4 ... 4g92 crank can rev up to 10k .....

welcome to the thread ......

ok ...u just overhauled the engine ... so now u should run-in the engine .... i need to know what have ur mechanic did to the engine .... any modding at internal part of engine ..... what kind of gasket .... what type of bearing .... got any racing part like cam pulley ... ecu ... .. i need to know b4 helping u to gain hp ... . thank you

sory!! ah loon tyco because i want to use mivec to drag race last time we use 1.6l vs the 1.6vtec hard to win so we use 1.8l vs 1.6vtec so far is good but when they us 1.8 they are very storg now they us 2.0l b20 block or 1.8l but use toda storck kit 2.0l then rev 10k or 11k now so i hope can to do 10k in 4g94 now the cam i will use jun and the valve spring use jun the bearing will use king bearing !!! last time ah loon tyco you have use 4g94 be 4 how hight you rev ??
 
hohoho.. u r building a monster machine,man.... just purposely to fight with b20 ?? good luck. maybe u can let me know the race date and venue. i wanna go look see... good luck,man!!

btw, i hv fren that can bring cam copied from tomei spec for about rm2+++ from aussie.. i dont know and dont dare to play with high cam yet,but if anyone interested,let me know....

Hi bro Henry,

Thx a lot for your reply. My mechanic didn't mod any parts in my engine. Da engine is stock standard. No ECU's, cam pulley's, bearing's.... It's stock standard. No mod at all. He only did a port and polish.... datz all... According to some threads that i've been reading, it seems like u're going to open a workshop.... Maybe i can come and see u and then u can advice me on modding my car. How bro?
