how do i make my VR4 exhaust sounds like vtec (bunyi pecah bila cam bukak)? is it even possible?

buy 'cap ayam' ekzos! works wonders 4 noise man.... few of my turbo frens sold off their expensive trust n HKS mufflers and bought wei yip specials... goddam it's f.cking noisy! but they happy la so i guess tat's all tat counts lor hehe!

You referring to 'external wastegate, atmosphere vented' sound?

Rarely heard turbo users wanna tweak the engine/exhaust sounds to sound like hi-revving N/A :rolleyes: My perception of hi-revving N/A sound :

1. Sound of engine screaming at 8000RPM
2. The induction sound of ITB or twin carb when pushed hard

well i never personally fixed anythin in wei yip la but they're an ekzos shop primarily i think. i know of one in cheras and one in puchong (near tesco)... prices i'm not 2 sure la but i saw they had promo packages etc in motor trader magazine awhile back... lots of ppl have told me their workmanship is not 2 great n da quality of their stuff ain't 2 promising either but hey u wan noise rite, wei yip mufflers GUARANTEE kao kao noisy wan!

as for piping size i'm not 2sure either... how many hp u running?? if somewhere between 250hp atw then maybe 3" la good. u could also have 2.5 inci till middle then 3 inci till ur muffla. dunno la wei think u should ask all da car sifus here la hehe!
