Guys,

I will go to change my tyre soon..
As I 'm run on 14 inch sport rim; at this moment I only able to select either Potenza GIII or Neova 07 to suit my rim size.
Before this, any of u use those tyres before? can share opinion?
Which one is better? Pls advise.. Thanks.:hmmmm:

get GIII... good overall performer... AD07 great on dry.. but poor on wet

I only have limited experience with the 14" Advan AD07s. I have them now for 2 months. For what it's worth, you can read my review here. Not meant to be the holy gospel by any means, so I suggest you ask for more opinions from other drivers :-

I am not sure what people mean when they say the tyre is not good in the wet. Not good in the wet under what circumstances ? And compared to what ? Surely it needs some qualification and can't be a simple blanket statement ? I found my AD07s a whole lot better in the wet than all tyres I previously used. Granted the earlier tyres were not performance models but still.....

I tend to drive prudently when conditions are less than ideal and never felt a need to push the limit in wet conditions. I don't know how other people are driving their csrs when they lose control with their AD07s in the wet. Judging from some comments, you'd think that the car will behave like it is on ice with AD07 during the wet .......which I have not found to be the case in normal driving.

From my understanding, no matter how good of tyre u are using, once over speed on wet surface, u will lose control. am I right?

wet conditions is not ur normal puddle water...is wen u drive on a highway during heavy rain doin sensible speed thn suddenly a streamline of water flowing over the road and u run over it thus aquaplaning ur car. im a frequent traveller north to south drive highway or trunks using goodyear GA 14" on my saga, blardy bad in wets..i experience alot of aquaplanning and lost control on the way....planning to change to st115 soon heard good review of it wet and dry terms...choosing good tyre is between life and death too...ahha

by the way ad07 is soft compound tyres...means..frequent traveller lke me..it will wear out the tyre very soon....even eagle GA 6months old left 20% thread....anyway..depends on ur driving style and choose the right tyre to match it...u1 grip thn yoko..u1 overall thn take falken..

185/60/14 Yoko AD07 can be bought for RM 220. I inquired from two separate shops and they both quoted the same price.

You are right that the AD07 are soft compound and, all things being equal, will be expected to wear out quicker than most tyres.

Haven't tried the Falken ST115. Might be worth taking a look at those after I wear out my set of Ad07. How's the ST115 in the dry ?

perform quite well actually...u can c the review on the other thread Falken st115 n Falken 326...tht thread tells u alot on tires
