thats wat im trying to say...wastegate sound depends on valve size and the pipe length and definitely how much output your engine is venting out/boost.... by the way how come my posting have this bump bump at below ek? i didnt repeat my sentence anyway.

wanna' hear some news, last week my lil' bro came to my place with his collage mate, his fren' are driving Honda EG6 B16A + with some mod laa..., after awhile chit chat, I got a chance to test drive his V, the result is cool...my heart really pumpin' when Vtec open & seeing the engine rev to 9000rpm++, for me Vtec is really fun cars, I think I test drive his car bout' 3 or 4 round if not mistaken..., but the think is...hmmm...maybe it just me...I'm a Turbo kaki, the satisfaction not there, another story is, also last week, it happen 2 days after test drive the V engine, my car just out from workshop, change metal gasket & some mod also...he...he...I can't tell it , set the boost 1.2 bar, there it goes, lock to my bucket, my bucket is "cap ayam" one now my bucket got sound "ekkk...okkk...ekkk...okkk... " he...he...back to workshop I told my mechanic, reduce the boost to 0.7 bar, enough for me...fuhh!!! for me Turbo still bring satisfaction to me...Vtec is fun car to drive...no offence yaaa...V fans...plus I agree wastegate sound is more "meremang bulu roma...give more goosebump!!!" SSaaaSSss....sSSaaaSSsss....!!!

im driving turbo...but honestly for me sound of vtec roaring is more louder then our wastegate,
but g-force no matter what mod u done to the vtec as longas pure vtec no BOT...vtec cant
fight the turbo...that my 2cents...

yupe... when the vtec koyak....i felt so handsome seating inside... kakakaka.... as if im driving a british touring car...... during my previous xperience owning eg9 manual.... its a very fun car... lots of drivebility wit very little mods.. i just changed to spoon bushings, cusco adjustables and a short ratio gearing couple with Os super single.. engine remain stock with just a spoon chip ecu that came together with the halfcut... the handling is superb... very flexible car to drive.... going uphill and downhill genting fun , my vote goes to my previous honda eg.... acceleration power wise, of course my vote goes to my 1jz... handling, streetability....goes to vtec..

for me .. turbo ... being a low compression engine... felt a bit heavier than NA cars for response on the tap/low end.....i love turbo cars and i do wish to own back a unit of honda eg if im able to do so

yaa...I did agree Vtec is a fun cars, depend to the owners to choose N/A or Force Induction or U can be Greddy like our felles up there...he...he...honestly this tread is not bout' to get ppl to fight each others, just to share an experiance, for me I luv Turbo, engine response I think depends to how U set n mod Ur' engine, this thread also bout' mech & tech like mention on my previous thread...for me Vtec Fun...Turbo Thrill...who know I might change to Vtec...in this car mod arena anything possible aite! chill!

yup! N/A burn a lot of money but horsepower increase just a lil' bit, Turbo do or change 1 thing from the engine horsepower increase quite much compare to N/A...

what is dis about VTEC gives goosebumps and all? ive been driving quite a lot jugek, but havent experienced any pun.. to be honest, iam into the pull rather then hearing it so called roar. keep ur eyes on the speedo instead of keeping it on the tacho next time, and u'll know they have good acceleration feel because of the short ratio (too short for me, tak puas tarik) and not because of their torque.

but ive to admit, i like the honda for its handling. turbocharged B18 in an integra is my ideal dream, lol
