Hi all,

Today is my first time here and this is my first post. I was sent here from a link from Google, I was looking for reviews on Titans. I believe I have found the lair where Titan owners hang out, maybe the best place to throw out all my 2 yrs grief on suspension for my Kenari and also maybe the place to get it all my 2 yrs million dollar question answered ..

I want a comfy ride (equal to stock is good enough for me ! better is welcome) with the lowered stance .. 2 fingers front, 2 1/2 at the back is satisfactory enough and I have no intention to improve the handling. But if there is any room to improve handling is mostly welcome. I only want the looks ! Is there by any way by any chance to have a damper with the above characteristic ???

I'm no racer, I dont charge lap, I slow down at bends & U-Turn .. I only want the looks. I fitted my stock abs with Kimex .. fail .. macam Kuda Kepang .. my abs died. Then I change to APM R-Tech .. no difference .. then H&R with APM .. no difference .. abs died again now 2nd hand stock abs with H&R .. worst ! Then I was considering for a set of adjustables .. I was looking at GAB, Hotbits and a few other selections. Deep inside, I have a feeling that I wont find what I want from these adjustables. An thats it .. I follow my deep inside instinct. I had enough of aftermarket suspension. Now for me the word "comfortable" displayed on all springs & abs packaging and labels are just marketing scams. "You will never get any comfort once you change to sport springs. Save your money .. ", these are the words a best friend of mine told me .. now it make sense to me. Im still no good in anyway about suspension & try and error was a very bad idea & and I have burn a big hole in my pocket.

Lately, I sneak back in to K2OC, picking up where I left .. I came across the label Titan .. it was highly praise and gaining very high reputation as it ability to satisfy what most people want .. the sport looks, comfort and handling. I've asked around a few forums and dig through Google. All I've read are excellent ratings .. I havent heard any bad comments yet. My last page I visit is from Acoustic website .. (www.my-acoustic.com). After reading through his "Suspension Upgrade Journey" and reviews on his Titan setup .. I was tempted. I was tempted again. And again. I'm giving myself one last chance.

With RM 1800 price tag .. its a very huge amount .. a very very huge investment just for a aftermarket absorber .. Kenari owners who have upgrade to Titan .. please answer me .. is it worth the money ? And to Mr Titan .. can your absorber fulfill my dreams ?

Appologies for the long winded story .. signing off ... chioww

chubaka,

well.. i'd rather not promise you the moon and the sky (empty promises) but it's best that you test a car fitted with TiTAN's.

buying 'branded springs' and matched with 'branded' absorbers (i'd rather call them dampers, oh-what-the-heck) isn't usually as peachy as most ppl hope.
Else, many suspension companies would have wrap up liaw.

anyways, for a suspension set to work in harmony, you'll need matching dampers + matching springs, which is kinda difficult, when you don't really have a choice of damper tuning..

which is what TiTAN's all about. We tune our dampers to suit your driving needs. And being big-pistoned (relatively) we have greater comfort yet sporty at the same time! sounds too good to be true eh?

anyways, let's meet up sometime and let me arrange a meeting between some of the TiTAN-ed K-cars.. then you decide.

the price is what you get from a tunable, servicable and replaceable parts item. Basically a set for life!
plus!! a re-sale value (if no-one buys it, we'll buy it from you for a reasonable price) when you sell your car.

ahhh....i have been using titan for 2 year liao.....b4 switching to titan im a victim of mix n matching shock wt spring....

titan can be tune to be veli good handling to super comfort

my kenari also change to titan mah....believe me, with the "huge" amount u pay, ull get wh u ask for
stanley can promise u :P

anyway, its a very good setup for my kenari...lov it so much
might need to test more frequent coz no time to drive

by the way, can my rear hav the same set up like yor mom's harrier, adjustable coilover??
stanley

guys,

for the telescopic rear cars,
it's not really feasible, packaging it in such a small space is one thing, but strength of the mounting points is another.

And it's gonna cost RM2600-2800 if it's actually doable.

so how la?

wow....price is 1 thing...if durability is an issue, better dont try, who know drive half way somthing brake apart

Hi chubaka

Thanks for visiting my site.

Just to let you know my sis just bought a Toyota Corolla LE AE82 nearly 3 weeks ago and we sent the car to install TiTAN IMMEDIATELY.

I didn't even bother to check the car's condition. TiTAN comes 1st.

After getting it back, I'm very please with it's improvement over the DEAD setup. I was so shock and amazed of AE82's performance. I'll quote the sentence used by the boss "Richard".

"Can't believe such an old car can perform so good"

and from me "Better than allot of the modern cars - up to the point like jet fighter buly 747"

I'm not satisfied now, after driving it a little more :) - because I'm greedy for even more "comfort" than performance :)

hHahah, this is after all my sister's car to use for working and family, hence need to reduce the performance and increase the comfort for them.

But if it was my car :) heheheheh may be greedy for more performance - just a little more ..... :)

Hhehehe, but still, after installing normal bucket seats for my KE70 - wah :) heehehh my car still beats my sis's car :) heheheeh - always RWD advantage :0

Anyway, what key word did you use to search in google?

talk about break apart - I'm thankful that my RCA didn't fall out

and that my rear coilover didn't put too much stress on the mounting

shxt - I still so HIGH seeing the rear coilover - man one of a kind :)

BTW, did you guys know that I drive my car into really really bad and deep construction site.

Last time the TRD died around 3 months, this time 9 months still OK :) hahaha TiTAN saved me man.....

yo stan!!

u think u could make a coilover (as above) for the kenari? or is that reliability still an issue.... :(
