Behind the scene ARC is finally closing down for good and the staffs are slowly vacating the premises.
One wonders why such a big company has finally decided to pack up and call it a day. Good bye ARC.

:adore:

Yea, they filed for bankruptcy.
Doesn't it sorta reminds us of what happened to Apexi too?

I doubt it will just disappear off the radar much like how Apexi is still around.

Latest mail from a friend quoting,

"ARC staff told us today, (top guy) that company is closing, they have almost no staff now, and also no means too make new products. I guess overhead killed their business model."

No staff left!

I guess we wont be able to see any brand new arc products for a while or for good perhaps. Apparently they canceled all outstanding and new orders. :bawling: no more arc IC for me

bad economy and loads of knock off the reason for closure of big tuning brand in japan...example arc ic for rm 500 in th marketplace...

you ppl (me included) keep buying 2nd hand half-cut ARC parts. income kureng maa

ARC have been bought by a Malaysian company. You can see their products already available at a Malaysia Boleh price of RM350 for an intercooler (before nego too!).

The M'sian company is finalising the agreement and they shall add a "p" to ARC.

So if you see from your rearview mirror a Waja with its bumper cut off to accomodate the CRAP i/cooler coming, please make way...

support the originals peps! or else the aftermarket industries is gonna die!!

FOUND

Zero Sports has also filed bankruptcy. What is going on seriously?

nice one midship.

dont know if the remaining ARC stuffs (ori) will appreciate in value? hheehe

the high (still appriciating) yen is killing japanese these manufacturers. firstly many car makers are going tree huggers, the lower quality chinese replicas, all chasing after dwinddling buyers.

not surpising. soon even the auto salon will get smaller & greater emphasis to older chassic JDM cars.

very sad news. eventhough the japanese can make high quality and innovative parts but still can't compete with manufacturers from elsewhere due to cheaper labour. i believe these company have to retain inhouse R&D but outsource manufacturing process to stay competative. similar to Toyota la.. Japanese R&D n built the car outside Japan. that means fewer parts that will have
"made in japan" but more of "designed in japan" like knock off rims.

on the other note " PIVOT " is also suffering from knock offs from their highly successful volt stabilizers. i wonder if they are still ok.

It's due to the extreme low priced 99% look alike product... The next one, I predict Skunk 2... Just wait and see...

HKS soon maybe...too many immitations products in the market....
