i just bought this an hr ago and it roXors!! anybody else play here? i mean the first shop i went to check out was already out of copies so i guess there should be alot of ppl who're into this game...but come come let's share some combos you've invented/discovered or just accidentally came across while just mashing buttons :lol:

dang, haven't gotten a copy of this yet. i enjoyed 4 a lot, especially Jin's new moveset.. that guy's reach is insane.. but nothing beats smacking an opponent into a corner and keeping him there with Heihachi.

speaking of which, the trailers all say he's dead.. guess i'd better get the game and find out.

woohooo some other Tekken freak hell yeah. me Tekken freak since Tekken 1 the original back in the early 90's hehe. by the way, have been using the Mishima family for all along hehe, from Heihachi, Kazuya right till Jin. now with Tekken 4, been using Kazuya as i did in Tekken 1. however, i have yet to play Tekken 5 even though i already bought it last weekend hehe. thing is, i wanna gian like crazy and play non-stop the whole nite hehe.

good thing you opened a thread about Tekken here hehe. i wonder if the movement is the same with Tekken 4, as all the movements have been changed everytime there's new Tekken. in Tekken 4, Kazuya's Demon and Rising upperscuts are easily done, scared this time it's hard la hehe.

yup grouchy, i have been a Tekken freak fanatic ever since i payed at the arcade during the early 90's hehe. used to conquer the seat and during weekends, some guys from Singapore also came down to play hehe, all i tapowed until 1 kid tapowed me with Paul. bummer, i o nly got to hit him once la wei, then the whole 10 streak i lost to him untouchable. bummer haha, but that was way back then la.

i also follow closely the history of the Mishima Empire hehe, and Kazama family. seriously, if you learned about Tekken history, you gonna love it bro. the story in the game is just a simple story only. you should read the whole shebang. i have a sparing partner at home, he uses Hwoarang hehe, he's pretty good bro, when we played at shoping complexes, kids will wonder and wooo hoo us hehe. but i am sure others out there who are much better.

wahhh, i can tell you that hehe you are my eternal enemy hehe. but in the story, the enemy is the devil within la hehe. anyway, just wanna know, in Tekken5, Hwoarang's moves, is it the same in Tekken4? good la we should meet up and play la. but errr in the arcade, do they have Tekken? back in the 90's yes la, but now?

all same but of course with some new moves...now he can almost link any move back into a stance...which opens up alot of new combo variations too :lol: yea they have tekken 4 everywhere now...not sure about tekken 5 but i think sg wang might have it already though...

you guys tried Asuka yet? my new fav next to Jin.. she's got most of Jun's moveset from T2 with some extras. and she has this annoying jab-knee that seems to stop almost everything that's thrown at her. :P

hell yeah, finally got time to play hehe. bummer, never thought they gonna bring in Jinpachi la, after all these times, i thought he's already passed but nice twist hehe. bummer, true la, story of great figthers who refuse to die. well, we never let any of them die anyway, as we keep on calling them back for sheer action and pow wow.

and also some other previous Tekken fighters like Baek, Ganryu and others hehe. but the new fighter like Raven is good no doubt, and especially with that Blade fighting and attitude, he'll be picking lotsa fans no doubt.. checked out Kazuya's moves, well, only 1 new move. some combos are combined with Jin's.

anyway,. have not finished playing yet hehe, can't wait to play again la. guys, don;t you ever fantasize if only we can fight like each one of them? i would love to fuse my Kazuya skills with Heihachi's hehe. that'll be ultimate and i'll pick fights with every bad guys i can find hehe. saja cari pasal hehe, as i'll be almost indestructible. woohoo!

guys, hav eyou started playing the Arcade mode? right now, i'm using Kazuya and already reached Tekken Lord title, after Deity. any idea what's next? been fighting for like so long but still no ranking promotion la. is Tekken Lord the highest? anyone?

hehe the next character to play is Heihachi hehe. tried a couple of times and superb la, especially when he grabs the throat of his opponent and throw away hehe.

....... at the very least, they shifted the sidestep system to tekken tag style.

kinda..... they still have that VERY gay sidewalk from tekken 4.


..... i still havent found a character i'm partial to in tekken 5.

devil jin is pretty cool, but he aint what he used to be in tag.

Tekken freak here. Played from the first tekken in arcade back in primary school. Huhu. My favourite character must be Paul and King. I remember the first time I played Tekken 3 in the arcade at sg. wang. Beat the whole game with with one token with paul. King's combo is not bad also. There one combo that u can do that can damage the oponent 115%. But very hard to do la.. I do think tekken 5 is the best tekken series yet in terms of graphics and characters. Anyone know how to unlock boss Jinpachi on ps2? I heard rumors that it is a playable character.

you'd be surprised how many times i catch people off-guard with yoshi's simple stringers. of course it doesn't help that his unblockables are quick.. and it doesn't help that he's so queer. :P

err...and yea don't try to use king (at least his grabs) against veteran players (like wayward) cos they can escape from them easily...only good for noobs for a quick and entertaining death haha :lol:

and yes we all miss tekken tag *sigh*
