Streamyx maintenance?

Any Streamyx users here that noticed the drastic drop of connection speed in the past 1-2 days?

I was experiencing extremely slow speed on Saturday, when I tried the Streamyx bandwidth test and it took me more than half an hour to complete, my results = less than 28kb :X-: Sometimes I couldn't even connect!

Call Streamyx baru tahu they're performing upgrade/maintenance until 15 or 16 Sept (If I didn't forget)... thats a pretty freakin long time though, it better be worth it :Not_Impressed:

IIRC their " upgrading " works is related to the upcoming 4mb line .

Yep, it 's been freakin' slow for the whole freakin' month! I am paying for a 1mb line but it 's like running on a 56kbyte modem!!!

Fix it ! stupid steamX

When I execute the speedometer test It registered my speed surpases the leased line speed! WOW! freakin'WOW!!

but it still goes like a 56k modem to all three test location.

You TM pricks! I want my 1MB not a superficial leased line speed.

dunno about streamyx .. but i have been having nightmares loading and logging onto zth lately .. hehehehe ..
i normally bench bandwidth from this TEST

waliauu .. i just took the TEST and my speed really sucks big time .. 79kbitps download and 32kbitps upload !!!!
i guess it has to be STREAMYX laaaaa

The Download Speed is : 1428.9 KiloBits/Sec


BUT is not my house network connection .... i using company broadband !!!

Same here Satria_95, I can't log in to MSN Messenger either.

And the funny thing is, I can't even run the buytelco bandwidth test, it just shows a message stating its unable to proceed... wtf....

it took me 3 minutes to load this single thread btw....

before this was terrible...cant even open yahoo....so reformatted the whole pc...now seems better...

If you can't get a connection, meaning that the dsl light continuously blinks or totally no light, report it to 1-300-88-9515. Yeah, they are a bunch of nuts in there bt heck, if you don't report, you don't have anything to go against them.

starhub/M1 from s'pore ask $S160+ but give u 25mb!!!, not 2.5 oh....

if devide by 10 = RM35 for 2.5mb....

fucking expensive, we still call it broadband??
