rim spacer..

yo dude.. I don really like to let other people see my ugly car.. (it's still under
construction... due to short of money :P )

but I guess I better show it for short while..

I really don know what to do... but the thing is..

it's really weird... as u see the rear side rim seems hiding deep inside of

cave... ;) I'm thinking of getting one for rear side first.. it's around

1.5 ~ 2" spacer... of course.. not the cheap one but.. from quite trustable

workshop..

They recommend me to get only rear side.. because I faced bit of problem

that the tire touched the plastic cover thing inside the fender..

will it be ok?

oh.. one more thing...

I did makat already.. so the shape of fender is not so sharp but..

when the rim comes out.. it will be the different story... if rims touch

the body the touching part will be the different.. but I got 4 people be seated

in my car it seemed ok..

so~ I'm thinking of just lower down front part only (I'm waiting for my

inspection by this week.. after that I will lower down..)

Will it be ok what if I just lower down front sus only from the position now..?

now currently I can put 3 fingers between fender and tires. (front side)

and the rear side seems just ok for that height..

please share me ur comments...

2" spacer besar wooi....unless u're going to do a wide body wira la :) but from the pics,i can see wat u trying to describe to us la,but no need 2" so big la i think,go meassure it n see how big the spacer u need lo
anyway how come the front rims not hiding inside but the rears are?wat rims u using?looks like different offset front n back to me,are u using 'ying yang' rims?those rims with a wider offset for rear,and a slightly smaller offset for front,my mech call it 'yin yang' rims la.....check the offset of your rims lo,maybe terpasang front to rear,n rear to front?juz a few cents of my thoughts,hope they help :)

oh let me explain about it..

why it looks that rear side is so deep in side and fron side is not.

actually front side... I took the picture from front right? the thing is

the front bumper is not wided but the rear side did. that's why..

I will wide the front side as wel.. then it will look even..

I hope that will be ok that I install the rim spacer... It should.. :)

and the rims are super advan..

just measure la how much more outward u want the rim... we don't know how wide is your wide body

my body kit is quite wide.. I guess it should be at least 1.5" and the rims

still inside..

well.. it seems ok that I can put spacer for rear side only..

I saw some of monster cars that they also put a big rim spacers at rear side too.

lol... indeed wat boggy say is right
unless you're keeping your wheels i suggest get a low offset rim. say 0 offset and that'll be 35-40mm difference from original.
or at least confirm which rims you taking before making the spacers

1.5" spacer enuff to cover the fender bro.
better try those wider offset rim. or deep-dish rim. it should help make the rim jug out. but spacer is dirt cheap, and rim is expensive.
if your rear suspension is adjustable then adjust it higher lar then won't touch the fender lorr.

but the thing is.. I just bought those rims 3months ago..

it's bit difficult for me to... sell it and buy it again... ;)

that's why... I will modify it from what it shows.. wider and more furious after

inspection... that's why I need rim spacer..

cheap and effective
the rim for sure can inline with the wide fender...
that will complete your wira EVO 5 wannabe look.

Actually I'm little scare to put 2 inch :P but rear side should be ok.. kk
