they have rev limiter but no speed limiter... there is a rev cut at certain rpm so that u wont blow ur engine revving too high...
but then, as we all know proton cars are vr bad in quality... so even revving at half of the full rpm also can feel the engine gonna burst adi...

someone pls enlighten me, if balancing is done to the engine, would the engine stress as much?

Also, if my rev cut is at 6.5k, is there anything i can do to make it rev (almost) safely to 7.5k(rev cut eliminated)? Yes i'm aware the powerband may decrease...

automatic??or manual???
for waja auto i know the rev cut is around 6.5k rpm......
u can try piggyback the ecu or change....or even overwrite it...my advise..if u r using proton engine...pls..mantain the rev cut 6.5k...coz there isnt any power beyond there....and also....to keep urself frm blowing engine...

carburetor is more powerful for high end...so can tarik

but efi less power at high end...so u tarik kuat kuat oso useless

for waja auto i tarik till 7000 rpm wor..still no rev cut but never tarik further ler...heart pain

do port n polish and engine balancing lar... some say proton engine also can rev kao kao after those mod... no stress what so ever...
i thought i remember ninja_iga did on his SLK... he said tarik his car engine till 8k rpm with no stress...

The regular Wira's and Satria's feel out of breath after 5K and above. I guess its still ok to rev to the redline as this is indeed between the range that its safe. But if you constantly go above redline, maybe you're asking for trouble. Once a while its ok.

The thing about smaller CC cars like Kancil is the ability to attain high revs without much trouble. Whether there's torque gain or not is another questions. I use to drive my sisters Kancil and was surprise how easily it goes to redline. Compared to my ex-car, a 1.5 Sentra that feels like its gonna explode when touching 5K.
