register new engine

hi there.....
just got few questions...
I have just tranplant GSR eng into my satria. The problem is I want to know how to register the engine without my mum knowing it (the car is reg under my mum name). Is it possible for me to just go to the finance and ask for the reg card (geran). I heard it is really hard nowadays to take out ur geran and some more mine is a new one (1 year 3 mth). I heard that we must bring our vehicle to PUSPAKOM and JPJ without the car being heavily mod....
And lastly the cost to reg (with/without cofee money)...
Anybody runners outside or sifus with experience PLEASE HELP ME.... :frown:

last time my car only age 10 months plus but i stil can take the geran

yes u must take ur car to jpj/puspakom to do inspection
the fees is around 1k++

the bank will ask many questions
for my case they ask me: y u change ur engine while ur car only 10 months plus?

but normally they would let u take

not neccesary for ur mum to go . u just write a letter on your mom's behalf that she gives u permission to take out the gran with her ic number and her signature.. because u oso need to ask ur finance to write a letter that u are changing ur engine.. u need to have the permission letter again for that also.. that means all together 2 letters from ur mum with her ic number and signature enough edi

if wanna avoid lot of problem .. kasi runner handle it coz they know those dirty boys in JPJ ... u go means sure their eyes all light up with dollar signs and ur wallet only bocor ..

at 1st i change to mivec la
my 1.3cc engine only run around 8k-9k++ nia

then last yr i change to gsr
coz mivec always kena tapau

if u go by u'r seLf for the inspection the cost is Lesser than u thaught, but the probLem is u wont pass the 1st or second or the third time u went for the inspection, u know Laa puspakom ppL, aLways not satisfied with us the modifiers, hehehehee, brakes not good enough Laaa, aLignment not so weLL Laaa, the exhaust to big Laaa kepaLa bapak dia Laaa kan...... i've oredi gone thru' tis kind of treatment, at last i cari runner Lepas, u i 1.5~1.8 standbY Laa RM500 max.... but i think Lesser than that, coz mY frendz inspec 1.8~2.0 is onLy RM300 using the runner Laaa, but carefuLL arrr dont be tipu bY kencing runner Yg suka makan duit org.... hahahahaha, onLy than u know.....
