Other than the new category, the regulations are the same with one main exception: officially, competitor vehicles need not be registered roadcars, but owner documentation is required should JPJ or customs choose to enquire.

As usual, the course will feature quick corners will tricky left-right-left corner and tightening turns. Rollcages are not yet required, but are highly recommended, and may be compulsory later in the year. But that's a different story...

See you there!

What's the fee? My car don't have roll cage can enter or not?

Entry fee is the standard RM 100. No you don't need a rollcage to enter R3 Time Attack.

Yes Soo, it is the same carpark. But of course I will design an interesting track..

Splendid.... I can start recruiment for the 'Shah Alam Carpark Tree Huggers' club again.

Time attck courses has always been a mix of fast-ish and tight corners.
Sometimes there were hairpins that required hand brakes but many choose not to use them.

Thanks.... I will come prepared with good handbrakes in the Putra.

Pls Do so. Having good working hand brake never hurt anyone.

That's the common mistake people make. Show up to compete in a Autocross event with Handbrake that don't work. Mistake no 1.

And surprisingly many still do it. Even the experienced guys..hahaha

Since I am driving a kancil, what part of the interior item i must retain and can take off during the race?

1. spare tyre including jack and tools?
2. passenger front and rear seat?
3. speaker board?
4.floor carpet?

I read the rules, but still unclear. forgive me, this should be the 1st time i join. guide me ya.

from my understanding :

1.rear passenger seats, speaker board, spare tire and jacks can take out.

2.interior carpet can take out also.

then how abt the front passenger seat?pls clarify. cheers!

Hi,
For R3 time attack, all dat u mentioned can take out. But if GRA, dat's another story ;)

If you're a first timer, make sure u don't have any loose items in your car, i.e. tickets, receipts, sunglasses, passcards, coins, water bottles etc. And if you're on a budget constraint, use it to check your alignments from a good alignment shop. If u hv summore budget after that, put in some v-power. U also need a helmet and sunblock if u don't wanna get too tanned after the event

Yes... Front seat can take out also.

KillerB gave some good advise there. My advise is to ask any of the participants on that day if you have any question. All of them are very helpful.

You can add me to your MSN and it will be easier for me to guide you.
