question regarding exhaust mod,,

chiathau : My opinion will be POWER=FUEL. FC is affected by your right foot. Extractors and Mufflers are to smoothen the boost when you need power. With stock exhaust system, you wont probably satisfied with the power when you most needed it(how u revv also, the power is limited). Just my 2 cents.A lot of sifoos here surely can give u more expert explanation..

yeah... but will does the modding of extractor and exhaust will help in performance... for FC, will it impact by how much? coz eventually, i drive like unker.. haha... just hope tat when I need some power... the car will response to it. ( I am not a really extreme perf guys... ) :"P

NAH..no need thanks la..im not sifoo ;) i will totally agree with modding ur extractor and complete ur exhaust system first ...it improves throttle response a lot... Honda City? lets call out the sifoos from this thread~!~!

yah,2" should be for N/A car....kind of hard to find N/A muffler from those branded muffler loh....search for so long,mostly all 2.5" above.......

change extractor and muffler sure will effect ur FC....for auto car kind of hard to find a nice setting for it....cos as i know auto need more pressure.....
scare high FC ?
make it this way bro,
high FC = more power,
low FC = less power.
so think before u mod,once u mod and got addict on it...theres no turning back...hahah....

i also not sure my setting correct or not loh...cos i'm also ask opinion from friend,forummers and the exhaust fella......
well,they all say auto car need more pressure compare to manual(by the way i'm driving an auto car),i'm using 4-2-1 , 1 mid box and a N1 style ,muffler....so now planning to add one more bullet or mid box in it.Due to using N1 style muffler.if using those S-flow,i think 1 mid box should be enough.
u can try buy those imitation Twin Loop muffler to try,i heard is not bad....if got money can go for Mugen Twin loop...hahha/.......that will cos a boom.......

How do we archieve more pressure for the car? (do you know how?) actually I am still newbie in this area..., so hope that I could gain more knowledge from all the sifus here.. (hehe...), what is a mid box actually? (Got any photo to it?) me also not too sure wat is a bullet...
Actually in my mind is tat.. I just plan to mod the extractor (which is use back 4-1, bigger diameter i guess - a imitation for mugen 4-1 for Fitz Aria) and then left the CAT, exhaust untouch...

Some told me to remove the filter at the bottom, but keep the CAT... some ask me to remove CAT.... but most of my sensor is pretty close to the CAT, so i decided to keep it.

Not sure if twinloop is good... but they said the sound is nice... pretty bassy but I dun wan that, after i mod the mufflers or extractor... the ride will feel even more sluggish than what I feel now... :"| (gosh sound like a lot of demand here ya), at least..., i want the ride to be responsive... than before... :)

if u remove ur CAT,ur respone will much better...that wat i feel after remove my one...the RPM up more faster....

sonic: no...unless there is CAT built-in with the bullet...which i never seen one before ..maybe it existed..but what's the point of ditching it out and adding it again rite? not all cars have CAT rite?
