"bisi putih tarak kalat" is what they said .... that dat one feller onli kena ... too loud echaust ..... especially ppl i see with wira but running on a GSR super big piping ... walau all tow back to JPJ .... no need do piping if your piping no hole or "tarak kiaciau sama lu punya pirfoman" what they say to those ppl who wan to change pipings .... stock piping sure can go up genting .... bigger ones i think cannot ..... i mean no power ..... i got one friend change piping to 1.75 then change back to 1.5 coz cannot tahan the power .... too power oledi .... until i also dunno how to describe .... in palce need power it wun .... but in place dun need it'll come automatically ......

i changed mine in malacca lor... one small exhaust shop la.. they arent any experts.... hahaha....
yeah, i think besi putih tahan karat only..... not tak akan karat.... they will karat someday in the future....

btw how they actually test ur exhaust and tinting?...i have seen those car with exhaust look like stock also loud wat....

its actually all they say one la ..... erm tinting is they use a gun something like ray gun shoot towards your window then they know oledi the percentage ..... then exhaust is listen lo ... hey say loud is loud .... u cannot argue ... usually those exhaust pointed sideways sure kena ....... if u wanna cahnge exhaust make sure it sits the way your stock exhaust sits ......

was planning to change Zenden 4-2-1 from kent

and so far i researched and trying to get what u guys meant

this is how i plan to mod my LMST

Zenden 4-2-1 exractor and Straight-Flow muffler

piping remain but since extractor become more powerful the gas flow is more quicker that's y need to replace S-Flow to Straight Flow.

how any comments?

gohkokeng , change the extractor n keep ur s-flow muffler now la .... no need change straight flow la, dem bising ... or get those branded s-flow mufflers, more quiet than your LMST ori muffler ... u'll thank me later la weih. unless u think u can tahan the straight flow sound la .... bising like *@#$ ...

Sonic your car is an auto right? Bigger pipe, straight flow = lesser back pressure which will probably make your car veeeeeeerrrrrrrryyyy sluggish since it's an auto.

edwin, hohoho.. that's the trick question here. The price of a performance catcon will make it not worthwhile installing. But it helps reduce the sound and it saves the environment! Highflow catcon.

pifecto / sonic : You wanna do it you can! no one is gonna stop you. Just that after 3 pages of discussion I thought it was made clear you'd lose power if you didn't measure and calculate the proper diameter needed for the increase.

Say for example my standard wira SE, the piping is 1.6 or 1.7 inches only. If I were increase it to 2 inches, I'd lose power mainly because my extractor and engine doesn't produce enough hot exhast to exit fast enough out of that large diameter piping. Unless I drop in a turbo engine, then small piping would restrict the exhaust and cause it to reduce power, therefore for turbos they usually use 2 inch pipes or bigger.

Manuals can go for straight flow setups. Autos can too but you'll regret later.

Sonic, if you're serious about HP increase, I suggest you change the extractor AND piping to a performance extractor and piping. Not just the piping alone.

hahaha honestly i planning to change Zenden 4-2-1 1st.....drive and feel any need of changing 1st......if after changed performance can feel got significant improvement then don 1 change others.

hmm, i have changed to aftermarket zenden extractor, i didn't feel much significant improve of power, thats why i was wondering whether my 1.6 inch diameter piping and 2 bullet in the middle is restricting the air flow. what u guys think??

If wanna do the Exhaust.. suggest to replace ur airfilter too.. Open pod/Drop In...

Advisable to change extractor if you want to enlarge ur piping... no point having bigger piping but ur gas flows still not running smoothly at the beginning part which is the extractor...

Bulet n muffler is a MUST.. other wise ull attract attention.. especially authority..

Straight Piping/ senget is a NO,NO... its illegal when ur exhaust Piping goes under the Fuel Tank.. advised to stick to the stock setup flow... unless u can find a 4wd fuel tank..

u want to tint.. advised to stick to legal ones.. which u can still see n recognize the person inside the car... not too reflective n not too super dark black.. once the authority cant see u.. they will kacau u la...

dont even try to install a dark one.. n wined down ur window at road blocks.. they'll get u...

pifecto14, it's not anything that is restricting anything in my opinion.... its all in ur head. Wat do u expect from the bullets/extractor? a great power gain? Not. all these small mods wun do much, n our car's displacement will still be that same displacement. Dun think by juz changing the exhaust system n air intake u can beat a car with a larger displacement than yours... If u wanna do that, change the engine. There is no replacement for displacement.
