port & polish

just want to ask from who have done these.wat the different b4 & after doing port polish to our eng head..just want to know the normal price including changing some part like tiny2 in the eng..my mech want take 1 week( coz many car) & need abot rm600-rm700 for these job..

after few years doing port and polish got to open back to clean the carbon...if not.....loose the feel......

rm600 - rm700....reasonable.....but make sure they send to engineering not just simply polish only suka-suka.......muahahhaahaa

Bro my car now is in the workshop doing port polish, overhaul,balance and bla bla bla.... i myself oso dunno how big is the different lah... my car will be ready by next week. from there i will update u bro... i will upload some pic of the whole process.......

sorry for the late reply bro... i just got my car last thursday lah... hehehe....

ok i have changed a few things lah in the eng...(i m running SVT 20v eng)

1. AE111 forged pistons + bearings
2. crankshatf
3. conrods + conrod bearings
4. TRD metal gasket
5. Sard fuel regulator
6. and overhaul, port polish and balanced.

When accelerate, the car eng is very light and very responsive(i can only rev till 4k RPM lah. gotta wait till 1k km and service 1st). As a lots of ppl says, after u have done all this things especailly everhaul, port polish and balanced, ur car's fuel consumption will be very high and the power oso so so only. Things will starts to change lah after u have service ur car for the 1st 1k km. But as for mine, i can feel the power has been improved and the fuel consumption is good.

B4 everhaul, port polish and balance my car's fuel consumption is RM53 --> 380km but now i can go RM53--> 440km. A great improvement. My mech says after i have service the car, it can go higher and the power will improve a lot... (dunno how true it is lah... :) ).

yup. i dunno the size lah but then as i know is this piston is slightly larger than the ori SVT piston (0.5mm larger). Brand arr.... i dunno oso lah coz my mech got it from his buddy (oso a extreme mod mech in sabah). This pistons got black thingy at 2 sides of the piston 1 lah...

Dyno arr... err..... how much will it be arr to dyno the car? coz i m super broke liao man...
