Please Advise......

hi guys,

OK i bought a seibon carbon fiber hood for my Altezza RS like the one in the pic and i noticed that every time it rains and i start the car there is a loud screeching sound coming from the the engine bay. A friend told me it might be water on one of my belts, i would like to know how i should go about addressing the problem without blocking the vents in the hood.:hmmmm:

screeching from belts.Check belts and pulleys.
If they are fine then just spray on 'silicon belt conditioner'--not joking

Definitely its the belt that dun have the grip on the pulley.

Under what circumstances that happens? it depends.

Take 1jz advise.
