From The KL Blog:

Q: So is the MyVi another Daihatsu rebadge or what?
A: Well, the way Perodua puts it, the MyVi was jointly developed right from the start, with 80 of our engineers stationed in Japan for more than a year. Seeing that they've admitted to using the same platform as the Passo, 'right from the start' realistically means post-platform design. So, is the fact that the end result is a car that's 90% Passo just a coincidence? Well, the author's opinion is this: "WHO CARES??? If it had turned out to be 100% Passo, better still! The fact that you are getting a Toyota-based car, built by a Toyota-certified facility and standards at National-car prices is good enough for me :)"

Myvi 1.0SR RM41,200
Myvi 1.3SX RM44,755/RM45,300
Myvi 1.3EZ RM47,781/RM48,300
Myvi 1.3SXi RM47,781/RM48,300
