bro..u should get your info from other car tuner workshops not only in msia, but around the world, especially in the usa or japan,
watch street tuner challenge on astro channel 734 , discovery turbo bro...it helps alot.

the most important criteria is
1.friendly, always greet & thank customer when they arrive or leave your wshop
2.from there no matter how expensive or cheap, they will still return cause they feel welcomed.
3.no hanky panky involved, must always be honest!!!
4.no need to overcharge customer, if small minor problem, just do as charity, i will guarantee u, the customer will return.
5.start building your database, inform all your frens & relatives that u are opening a tuner shop, dont spend too much on media advertising, the best solution is from word of mouth. once u have enought funds, then only spend a quarter on advertisement, study 1st, which is the best media solution, mostly it would be magazine, like motor trader or hypertune mags, or foc thru internet, like zth or mudah.com or ekereta.
6.dont let your subordinates (mech, tire man) take advantage or u, or pijak your kepala, or claim OT by just sitting down there chit chatting, must be stern, if u c them doin nothing by just lepakking after 8 hrs of work, tell them to go home!@!
7.get insurance for you wshop items, cos there is a posibility of break in or get security system.

if u interested, my former collegue was given the funds to expand a tuner company,
he started from selling spare parts in a halfshop, at that time he was driving a wira converted evo2, he worked day & night trying to expand his bussiness, till today he is driving a skyline GTR r-spec within 2 years he has succeed.

btw, the shop name is SPS in shah alam section 13,
his name is Amir, just go there & get some advice from him....
if u c him, kirim salam to him....

good luck bro.

good luck bro. btw, where is your workshop? maybe i can 'singgah' for a while and ask for your service.

hey bro.. my shop will be opening soon maybe in batu caves area or sri rampai area.. i will keep you posted bro...thanks for the support! i'll give you extra zth members discount

Bro Reyza, good to see you open your own workshop, but then hv to remind you 600k is not really enough, need to plan carefully...good mech, good stock, good tools dun come cheap... just a dyno machine already cost you 200k at least (basic pkg) if you add in this that easily reach 400k... i got that quotation from dynopack...

BUT!!! ALL THE BEST TO YOU!!! its a great achievement!!!

thx bro zac.. i think i should hold the dyno machine 1st... maybe after a year or two then maybe i'll consider for the dyno.. hehe.. dont wanna go too big.. i want to build the workshop slowly.. need your support guys! thx!

Biggest headache is workers, logistics (order and pick-up parts);
