Bros out ther,i'm planning to get a Proton R-3 cuz GTi already stop production, can any1 gimme more details bout this car?

Izzit worth the price?

How bout its performance?

Thanks in advance

Depends on what you want in a car. If you want a car that is fun to drive, the R3 is worth it - for the price you are paying. If you are looking for comfort, luxury - look elsewhere. Build quality is an issue that affects all Protons and you have to be mindful that you may need to spend quite a lot of time at Proton Edar Service Centres getting the problems ironed out.

The R3 is a different kind of luxury, given its price alone :)

But for more info, pros n cons...do enquire at the R3 owner's discussion thread http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=666148#post666148

need annot wor open a thread? anyway R3 sucks cuz of siemens ECU :D same goes to all the proton who's running under the siemens ECU... =\ i'm a victim of it..

Aiyo bro...ask mar..u know la..i noob noob dei..lost my waja (T^T) now driving my old car,the SUZUKI VITARA,damn hot la. =.="

change wat? ECU? can, but u new car change back to MMC ecu, waranty bo lioa and also its gonna cost u 1k+, u'll have to change wirings, throttle body etc etc to adapt to the MMC ecu. not worth it IMHO.
