No sound when playing DVD

hey guys..

wondering if any of you can help this IT dungu out.. lolz..

when i'm playing DVDs on my PC using Windows Media Player.. there is image... but no sound.. however, i dont get such problem when playing VCDs or MP3s with the same player.. any idea what's wrong? Many thanks..

hmmm..
i oso experienced the same prob on my note book..
no sound when i wanted 2 watch Casino Royale dvd..:hmmmm:
while some DVDs movies kenot be played on my notebook..
means??..

could be codec problem.. download codec. there's one called bbcole smthing..i forgot. search for it from google. u'll find it somewhere.
