i am thinking of buying used cefiro...2000cc
can someone advice me on this..

as for used car....the best place is theBINTANG n motortrader....:D
2.0 is slightly expensive than 3.0...if u dont mind...get a 3.0...then convert 2.5...:D

i know that 2.0 is expensive..but due to roadtax i wana get 2.0...i am buying for my dad...
one guy wana sell his 2.0 year 1997 for 43k...then i asked him any problem with the car...he told i have spend money on paint work and gear box...i not yet view the car....
is it worth??

if its a 2.0 then its a good buy...but i dont its a well taken care car coz the gearbox has been changed...mine was 1st batch..1996 with 3.0 engine previously..travelled over 350,000km n the gearbox still fine...recently change to 2.5 engine from halfcuts...cheaper roadtax...:D

anyway, try gettin the car check in puspakom n TC...a safer bet...cheers

can you tell what are things to check for cefiro since you been using this car for some time..i guess you know more than me since i am new...
some of my friiend saying that 1997 the tail light not very nice..
can you pls advice me...thank you...
how much does a new gear box cost???
how much you spend for the engine??
can buy 3.0 and change the engine to 2.0 or 2.5??? how much it will cost me..

actually u can find those answers in the cefiro club thread. it has been discuss b4.
u can always change the tail light...no prob
gearbox costs around rm2,000 and above for used 1...so its pretty expensive...
i bought a halfcut for rm6000..sold my previous engine for rm2500..workmanship rm1300...but i have extra bodyparts etc...only halfcut is aroud rm4k to 5k for a 2.5..
theres another way...get a 3.0 since its cheaper and just buy an engine (say 2.5) and drop into ur car...few members in the cefiro club had done it this way...u might wanna ask them in the thread i given u...cheers
