Need Help!

Just wanna ask, if anybody can help me find HC-E engine? i owned a espri and my engine koyak already. Need to find new engine and as i search, i found HC-E is what i want. any comment or suggestion, just point it here. Thanks.

from what u posted....i guess u must be using the original CB23 now ?

HC-E manual kinda hard to find but auto is much easier....transplanting it in G200 chassis isnt that hard and yet no need to change engine....

i came across a few HC-E halfcuts but on G100 chassis before and the price ranges from RM 2k to RM 2.4k that is the price for many months ago....and also came across a G102s halfcut which is the HC-E with 4wd gearbox....sadly no shaft or axles....

will post in here incase i found any HC-E halfcuts....btw u want auto or manual ? auto is much easier n quite alot around.....

thank U for the info, anion. actualy i'm not very expert with car. so i'm also looking for some opinion & guidence.
i'd done some research through the net and found interest in the HC-E engine. i found it suitable with me coz i'm a beginner and doesn't know well about engine.
so turbo engine is not my choice of engine.
about the manual or auto.... i do prefer manual... but at the same time, if auto r easier to be install, it is still fine by me. one question though, which is difficult to care... auto or manual?
any sugesstion...??

both have their pro and cons, manual is easier to play around with(gear control in your hands marr) auta is for easy driving and what other points that auto is good for(jam, etc etc)

so erm, in terms of care, guess auta will in the long run have higher mantainence as the oil and clutch might need to be replace, same goes to the manual transmission, so in the end also, its all up to you and what you like for dirving :D wether you wanna move the stick or just leave it on D and press throttle and brake only :D

correction gavan.....auto doesnt have the clutch but the auto transmition fluid need to change but after alot of KMs.....

both auto and manual is about the same maintainence.....

but from what i understand...
auto maintanance is more....
the fuel consumption will be more...
n when the gear box itself koyak...
it'll make ur head turn up sude down....

gtti kuning...memang auto fuel consumption is slightly higher due to the gear ratios between auto and manual....

also break pads wears off faster and yep....if gearbox koyak den headache la...but i dun think so easy can koyak...even koyak oso got place to recond it...

if ur using G200 then u've to look for G200 HC-E hcut.. less hassle for installation coz if u install HC-E from G100 there might be some mod on the mounting. Same goes for anybody using G100. the most important thing here when u buy the hcut MAKE SURE they give u fuel tank. bonus if u can get the rear disc break.

HC-E is one of the most stable engine in charade. cheap maintenance and performance is so-so in stock standard. No regret

i got a espri...1.0 i planing to convert to deto 1.6 but nowdays vv hard to approve.. i guess 1.3 should be ok on espri.. can u guys tell me more bout the HC-E engine.. halfcut price...etc etc

hi guys... my friends found one workshop at ampang, near cheras. he said that this particular workshop handle daihatsu cars. got several 1.3 engines there. the pomen said that converting this engine is around RM 3k. just wanna ask if it the standard price or not? including power steering installation come with the engine.

dont think it C&C coz the pomen said he used to work at one workshop at pandan indah handling compaq cars. he's workshop located at cheras in between ampang border(if i'm not mistaken). will post the workshop location next time i goes there.

about the price. don't think it's include the JPJ approval. so any opinion.....???

I can give u complete engine of 1.6(extrator and etc.) plus wiring,disc and tank.We only used block 1.3 as it easy to be approve by JPJ.

seem turbonetics using espri I can give u bodykit as well if u interested only need to add extra money.
