i'm using a cass. player and it connect directly to 2 rear speaker....to make the sound more louder i add another 2 rear speaker...but it seems not much different...my question is how can i make the sound more louder...do i need to use pre-amp or amp or anything...another thing is lack of bass sound from my speaker...what sould i do?

r u using a 2 or 3 way speaker for the rear,u must add an amp to make it louder.

If U use OEM cassete player.. the pwr output only around <12wrms.. just good enough for OEM speaker... I dont think can drive aftermarket speaker lorr.. either cap ayam or branded 1..

yes,u must add an amp to make it louder,by the way 2 or 3 way speaker is just to pump the bass sound.More to base oriented sound but cannot compare if u add a subwoofer.

its better to have ur amp rms power > speaker rms power rating rather than the other way round

Clarion OEM HU for Wira 1.3 did not have RCA out put lorrr... same as mine last time... need to change HU coz dont want wasted money on converter...

as I said earlier >12rms 4Ohm each ch... when U using 2 speakers each ch.. U will get 8Ohm(Series) or 2Ohm(Parallel)... let say each speaker is 60wrms..

a) when connection in series, the pwr output will drop by half... around 6-7wrms, did you think this good enough to drive you speaker?.. maybe your speaker will damage coz underpower..

b) when connection in parallel, the pwr output will double up (not so sure HU built pre-amp capable to do) or still mainteance at >12rms, still not enough pwr to drive the speaker & maybe at the same time U will damage the HU it self...

I think U need to spend around RM600-700 to bought CD player, 1 4ch amp, Fr Comp set & Rr 2way Cox 6x9 (dont go to 3way or 4way coz it very noise 1).. enough lorr.. this not a basic set-up but I call it ada bunyi cukup lorrr... when U drive not so boring & somemore U not serious in ICE... no need to spend to much loorrr.. Can be done at PowerTech Acc, MaxAuto, Eneos or normal Acc Shop...

buy PIONEER, KENWOOD, CLARION or etc with ur budject..

now if u have RM200+- u will get mp3

then buy amp...

i got pioneer 3850mph HU.. oem wira clarion speakers..

what i scared is.. after powering the oem rear speakers with amp.. the speakers will 'explode' because cannot tolerate so much power..

got such thing or not or the speakers will take the beating?

won't damage 1 laaa..... just adjust the HP little bit higher loorr like 125hz or more..

just keep the amp gain level to minimum and dont blast your stereo full volume its ok nothing will explode...

As far as I understand, some amp doesn't come with frequency adjustment on each channel, or gain / volume, or when you need to make a quick adjustment on these function, you use a preamp. There are a few types of preamp, this is just a type that I know.

I'm not sure if preamp will amplify the signal, but I think what you need is just a 2-channel amp to increase the overall loudness. Just get some cheap China made amp from the Market Place and you'll be fine. Get Howie to install for you.
