And reset my cam pulley. At the moment i can feel much better torque but alot knocking sound under 3krpm. When mivec kick in feel more torque. Mivec sound softer compare to last time this is bcos of not using mivec piston. Fuel consumption wise not much diff and normal driving it save more petrol compare to previous. No added fuel like regulator,fuel pump, injector all standard,and ecu is save due to my foreman advise. Over and above consider satisfied bcos i did not spend alot $$ so did not aspect a perfect result. |

hmm.. can u explain a bit why yr mech says ECU will be save if we dont use fuel regulator, upgrade fuel pump and increacse injector?..

i agree with Gibod. maybe u could explain a bit about that ECU save u were talking about. Do u mean 'save' as in no need to change to a different ECU? btw, do u guys mind telling what ur ECU code are? thanks.
i m using standard ecu !! like normal mivec 5.5 open limit 8.5krpm. The standard 1.6 mivec setup is save to use on standard 1.8 .
The only heavy knocking came from low Rpm like 2k-3k only thats normal unless u change ur ecu. Henryfong (ah loon) have a ecu design for 1.8 but i haven try it out yet i think that will eliminate the knocking sound.
1 of my foreman driving a 1.8mivec some more bored to 83mm bigger CC then mine been driving more then a year. Without adding any fuel !! now still running smooth..
U need to add fuel regulator or injector when u have hi-cam.
Standard 1.8 just tune with ur A campulley and distrubutor will. Distributor can adjust ur fuel.
My compression problem came out from the 2nd layer where the valve layer my valve need to rebored. Compression problem from valve not from piston ring. Cost about Rm250 labour charge bcos they r busy with other i haven send my car for repair.
Other than that i been tested top speed about 200kmh at federal highway. no problem..

wow u wanna know full spec?? why u tell me wat u wanna know about .. Start from telling wat experience on ur car weather u happy with the performance anot . Or wat u plan to upgrade that we can help u. VTEC to Mivec ? seldom i heard this most people after mivec upgrade to VTEC ... But u r 1st i heard V to M but anyway good to hear that...

no la.. actually i owned a honda EJ6 nonvtec.. and cost to upgrade to b16a is like a bomb.. so , i sold my car and change to MIVEC first. Later i got plan to get vtec machine for my 2nd car... since that this MIVEC which i bought can tapau B16A (previous owner's experience)., so why not i try it.. cheap also... hehehehe.. i havent drive this mivec yet, coz now in workshop change color.. next monday baru keluar with new color....
so,basically me cannot consider as V to M , but nonV to M... :D and who knows later will be nonV to M&V hehehhe
