usually the knock sensor is behind the engine below the intake attached to the block...
it's usually one wire only..
 
i found it...all socket connected...maybe need to be cleaned later...

heh i m james , i just looking the mivec oversize valve int/exh 1mm .if anyone got information pls call me 012-3941832..

This is really hard to find item. From what i know, Jun got come out with it ... but now have stop production.

Btw u can check RPW.

Actually there is a way to oversize ur valve. Send ur cylinder head to Sang engineering at old klang road. Ask Fei chai Sang to cut the valve seat angle to the max .. But there is a disadvantage to this kind of modification. The seat between ur valve and ur valve seat ring have the minimum contact. You need to grind valve manual to check the mark carefully.

not rev cut at 7k but its cant go over 7k...

where the knock sensor located?...

mivec open on [email protected] like that...

Normally if knock sensor problem .. u wont rev more than 6000rpm ..

heard can get 5-6whp xtra when you tune it with management. dunno whether it is true or not. gonna try it soon :)

yup. i'm using piggyback (type of ems). about the wiring, i asked my mechanic to hide the wires :P

sorry if i posted at the wrong place.....wanna ask for mivec owners in here,so far is it hard to find spare parts for mivec engine?coz my cousin he's planninhg to upgrade so thinking of N/A only so shud be mivec in the 1st place....going around hafkat shop in Kuching but so far no stock and the price range around 7.5-8.8k for hafkat...got 1 shop offer 10k w/o inst:banghead:

bro,if the price range around 7.5-8.8k consider cheap bcoz in currently KL hafkat for mivec around rm9k-10k...mivec now can be considered as rare item...huhuhu,so for those who owned mivec should keep it as a valuable item...:biggrin:
