just want to ask here...best plug for mivec is iriway7...IK24...Beru....anybody here use other than that?...if use normal plug can arr? cheap 1 can ar????i only use cheap normal 1...can use ....if use cheap no problem ke??? how about mivec? can function ke??? any comment?

btw...how my problem post yesterday? any comment?

so far ok.. smooth ride.. just when i drop gear when throttling, the exhaust sounds like engine got more power.. like turbo engine sound... something like that la...

just want to ask mivec sifu here....why my mivec can only kick in when i drive early in d morning...normaly when going to work...in d morning i can feel mivec kick in & hear mivec sound...i cc at my water temp ..show me at 85 degree celcius...cun i think...but if later after come back from work...when i drive try to use my mivec..nromaly cant open...c also 85 degree celcius...i cant feel mivec kick in ..no mivec sound...just hear like teppet sound...tret.......tett......tet..tet...sound.....but not loud. la...why aa...if im ravel also...i cant use my mivec...can anybody suggest me somthing to do...???

Ijoe .. i oredi told u that the cam degree for 1.8mivec is different .... so i have told u that u need a cam pulley to tune it ... after tuning i can gurantee u can feel the power of mivec kick .... there are not related with the spark plug ..... and i oredi said that ur mivec solenoid got some problem ... have u solve the thing ar ...??????

i'm using ik22... i think ik24 too cold for 1.6 mivec ler... :D

oo ic ... in that case i think i will call u this weekend to install it... r u free?

normally mivec will kick in when the engine r really warm up.... if the engine not enough warm up then the mivec wont kick in..... its feel just like normal DOHC only.... thats what i experience at this time of moment la..... dont know if urs got problem with the selenoid..... or the solenoid adapter/socket or else...

Im also using Denso Iridium IK22.

Like Kwai said, perhaps IK24 is for colder starts (more suitable for turbos).

N1 also advised this.

ijoe bro, Q8 engine oil is quite nice la, u can try it. u can get it from ah loon also

Q8 now quite hard to get the normal bottle semi syn 10-40 already, infact i havent seen any in a while.

the fully syn available in normal bottles

actually u can use back those original mivec ecu ... like 4828 or 7035 ... but the MD function will disable ... and it wont harm ur engine ....

.last week..while i driving climbing up d hill at janda baik..benttong there...on nite round 1am...suddenly i heard very loud engine sound from behind & its miving very fast.....d sound like ferrari cars engine...very nice sound..u now la ferrari sound..if anybody dont know ferrari sound..plz do check it out..keh..keh...suddenly it stopped very near behind me...it use only dim lights..& small projector lights at bumper...i cant c what type of car at first...so form its sound i thought its ferrari coz it has small projector on it bumper...then nice part..it can cucuk...cucuk me while climbing at d hill.,..damm..nice that car...u imagine la d ferarrai engine sound when dia cucuk..cucuk....climbin hill lagi tu...then i giv him a way...to bypass me...u know what car is it????? its waja...pergh....& it s moving very fast climbing up d hilll in a few second lansung tak nampak lampu belakang dah....very nice driver...& nice engine too...i think he use mivec v6 with triptonic...pergh...d sound....very nice...forget d turbo...if can get sound like that...very nice wooo....i love that car...me try to kejat..but my wife ..kata jangan...kete berat bawa barang banyak...anak lagi aaada dalam...he..he..he..u know la women...

anybody have heard d sound like that b4..know what im talking about...planning to have that engine aslo...(in my dreams la..)

wei bro ferrari engine sound and v6 mivec far different wor... I remember once the ferrari was behind me far away i can heard very loud engine sound but cant see anything from my rear mirror. After 5 second he over take me when he pass by i can hear the sound is screaming and i wanted to close my ear cost that time i open window for ciggrates. The sound is amazing !!!

ya lor..not too loud like frerrari...but loud than other cars..but engine sound like ferrari sound...can hear very clearly even its far away...& d car running away very smooth left me behind while climbing in a few second only....normal car i think can do that....only power engine can...like that what engine he use arr??
