i just try my engine...seems i rev on 3rd gear till 6K RPM but nothing happen la...no mivec kick or crazy sound...just engine sound & ekzos sound...2-3 times try still nothing happen...& seems when at 6.5K on 3rd gear at 120KMH like that..my car seems dont want to go...is it d ecu rev cut...i thought mivec ecu rev cut at 8K...if until 10 times rev & my mivec dont want to open ...how aarr??? can anybody help me?

try cal henry the mivec sifu ! lots of guys in here knows him n repairs their car wit him ( i cant coz staying too far ) his number 0126683627 ( i hope he didnt change hos pone number try cal him n clear ur problem )

u can always do few things :-
(a) check your oil pressure
(b) check your thermostat
(c) faulty mivec solenoid valve + wiring
yes, u can seek Henry(also known as Ah-Lun) in Kepong for troubleshooting and fix.

yesterday.. go c ah loon...he checked my engine..& yes cnfirm my mivec solenoid jammed......he service it so. luckily can used la..but somtimes ok somtimes not ...when he test my car mivec cant open..last night i test...mivec bukak! later after mivec mivec bukak! d tak..takk..tak sound apeaar...perhgh..scared beb! i think that solenoid need 2 replace la..it not function perfectly la....btw i already chipped my ecu...ah loon bikin...it cost me RM500......1 thing i feel my car very diff...after chipped...i got 2 ecu..7035 with chiped...& 4828 no chpped...with chipped better repsonse...now i can managed to rev until 8k no prob....
anybody hear know how i can get d mivec solenoid? i want to buy la...let me know if anybody have it!

wiramivec....i also got d vtec controler like u...vtc82x....tapi x pasang lagi...but my mech kata that 1 (rspec model punya) senang pasang...dia biasa pasang...kalau kau nak pasang boleh datang kat bengkel aku ni..kat bandar tasik selatan...nak datang call hp aku 019-6076246 ...aku live kat kat area situ gak...

......... my fren used this R-spec mivec controller after using it this controller about 1 year plus .... h e hav all sort of probs like FC very high, engine idling runs up n down, respons problem and mivec engaging problem !
- i dont maybe the R-spec effected all that coz its installed at ECU n its effects all sort of things in the engine performance ! (R-spec problem)
- mayb the poreman that fix the R-spec didnt do it right ! (installation error)
- mayb after installing it hav to check frequantly and done some setting ! (maintanance of engine)
so di ask around before installing this R-spec n as far as i know thre is no gain in performance only u can set the MIVEC shift point (earlier or later) ..........

good to hear that u managed to see ah-lun. maybe u should ask him to find you the solenoid if its not too troublesome for him.
since u have already done your chipping in ah-lun. i dun think u would need to mivec controller. theres actually many reason why the mivec point was designed to be at that point. it would be best if u want to change your mivec point, u ought to change your base-map together. hi-cams setting do need more fuel, so its not just to engage it but the fueling, ignition and etc has to be counted.
once your engage to mivec point..it'll be mivec all the way.

aiiyark, use mivec controller will increase FC ka? i tought its only control the mivec engage point only? well of course laa FC will increase if u set the engage point at 3.5k rpm. if u set at 4.8k or 5k .. i think not much different in FC. change gear at 3k or 4 k rpm laa.. dont have to whack everyday. hihi
reliable or not diffrent story ....... 11k rpm is main idea even reach one time also wil be happy ........hehehehehhahahahaha but after that different story lah ......
