Maybe cars that run on crank angle sensor that are tuned on MT/LT-4 have the option to do ignition timing as i have tried it on my civic-r turbo. You can ask around if your car runs on distributor and can lt/mt-4 do the ignition timing.
i know bolting on a t/kit on a EFI engine would be a better choice..but wats the process on a carby?
