Issit good to lower my car using stock suspension..?
my friend told me that if i use stock suspension my car will be very bumpy..
or should i invest in some sport springs?
cause now on very tight budget =P

Its not advisable to use stock bumper. Go buy a lowered spring. It cost around RM250. Pink color.

save some cash and change ur springs 1st..
u will regret if u compress or "potong"...

dun understand ur statement ACM, but not really nice using a stock suspension, i suggest u save more for a set of sport suspension with matching spring.

i'm using lowered spring only though...hehehehehe

Ok...
thanks guys..
any nice and cheap springs for around 200-300 budget?

ohh 1 more things..
do u guys know whats the bottom thing at the bottom of wira se 1.5
it looks like a big metal rounded thingy...
even with 4 ppl sitting in the car.. and i go over speed bump kena already swt -_-"
its like at the bottom of the car below the gear...

erm erm...
looks like exhaust pipe the filter.. dont know what is that called..
but its below the gear at the bottom of the car...

I got 1 pair short stroke apm performance/lowered absorber (R-TECH) for sale...front only....willing to let go for 150..still in good condition...call me if interested...012-6745280

Later on sure regret wat... better u save u and and buy a good one once and for all.

stock wira se
gonna change my bumper next week...
gonna take go service sin...
hrm... is there anyway to mod it?
so it doesnt hit the speed bumps or anything on the road?

Lowered spring + stock shock absorberss = bumpy ride (like riding horse, camel)

If got buget, lowered spring + short stroke absorbers (APM R-Tech, Koni, etc).

For best set up (and a deep pocket to spare), go for adjustables suspension.

One such maker, TITAN, offers full customized set-up as per buyer's driving style & preference.

If stock, then i think the flexi join thingy should'nt be scraping the ground.. Maybe sumthing else lah.. Have to see first then only got idea.

I have rear spring for proton wira/satria/putra. Model APM. PM me if interested.

What formula? that i want to use to "jongkek" my car like rally spec. Wira Aeroback. Small budget :)

i heard from another thread, the guy cut his shocks stopper (some kinda thing in the suspension setup lar) and the result, a near to stock comfort ride, even with stock abs...
not quite sure how true is it, need to climb down and see the workings of my car suspension...
TITAN vr expensive lar... totally out of budget... but agree with u quality goods comes with price lar...

for tight tight budget people, do not cut ur springs... guaranttee a vr bumpy ride ahead... :D

true true....better if u save up and buy springs from a good brand instead of grabbing the first cheap springs u see....cheap springs will sag after a few month and u will end up the same bounciness as a modded stock spring....u car will have bad handling...i know...ive been there..ekekkeke

changing the height of the car by swapping the original springs with a shorter or longer ones will lead to premature damage on the absorber. My personal experience.
