Help.....smoke

hi to all sifus....
just back from the drift event.....
but just now when leaving extreme park.....got stuck at the slope when going up....
so was balancing for a while....3 minutes??
then onli free gear n pull hand brake.....
after that smell some funny smell....then see smoke from the exaust(from back mirror)....
but didnt care at the begining....
after that when starts to move i have to full throtle my car....but even if i release my clutch fully n full exceleration the car onli move slowly then start to have to power to move....like the clutch is slow like tat....
then after going out the junction notice got a bit smoke from the engine bay....then open up got a bit smoke....off engine n let the smoke disperse then leave that place n come back to nilai.....
been ok while in the journey.....but the car like cant go fast....120km/h nia....
then when i reach home i go n smell both the front tyre.....the front right(driver side) got those kindda brake pad burn smell....but the other side dun have....

my question is izzit the clutch??
or the brake??
if its any of these 2 how come the exhaust will come out smoke??
or izzit the engine need to be overhauled....

also notice that the temperature will rise slightly when idle...n air cond not cold

can any sifu help....really veree worried.....
anyway....my car is a wira carb 1.3....9 yrs edi

got one particular smell

if got that smell,then its clutch

but then either brake or clutch will make ur exhaust come out alot of smoke wan merrr... maybe u should check up ur engine ler.

Cannot do like that for too long one...gear and clutch all will get very hot one...either something is burnt inside or gear fluid in critical low level already?? :huh:

his balancing probably worn his clutch like hell .. so maybe the smell comes from there.. but then the smokes.... hmmm...

calvin, dont waste time dude.. i think your engine overheated and one of your piston rings might have broken, hence the smoke from the exhaust n the engine bay.. check n see if there's oil leakage from your head gasket, if there is, it is confirmed.

also the air con not being cold is consistent with the overheating of the engine. there might be some blockage in the cooling system of your engine due to rust.
is the water in/from your radiator very rusty?

you experienced a lack of power because of the loss of compression in your engine. i do not suggest driving your car anymore in case you damage it further, tow your car to your workshop and ask them to check your engine. see if its fine.

if i'm not mistaken, you might need to do a complete overhaul. or maybe it's time to go for a transplant ;)

thanks eneryone....
the water in the radiator got a bit rusty d.....
i'm studyin in nilai currently....so dun know any good mechanic...maybe will wait till i go back to JB next weekend la....
sigh....

balacing will cause the clutch to heat de ah...then should be that la....
coz my RPM is at 2K when i'm hanging there......

the smoke i not sure is from exhaust or wat....but i saw from my back mirror got smoke la....

quite same problem wif my bro-in-laws previous car.....engine heat up during idle n got a lot of smoke coming out from d exhaust...ended up doin 3 time overhaul..but still like tat.....end up sell that car away....

if this engine need to be overhauled then i think better to transplant la....
sigh....go back tell father sure kene tiew wan....

btw...how to check if there's oil leakage at the head gasket??

found that the radiator fan n air cond fan not working.....
checked all the fuse no problem....took my frens fan relay n try the fan oso still not working....
could it be wiring problem??
no shops open today...
hav to wait till tml...
sigh....
car has been left un touch for 2 days liao....

calvin : dont run too much if fans not working for now
if not lots of trouble , if u r good in wiring , then take the positive and negatif , put it to a switch and connect to ur battery , let it run all the way when u driving , its more better than no fan running. get to a mechanic shop , let him rectivity , if wiring , then go to wiring shop lor.

could be something is shortcircuiting.. hope it's just a small matter...

if not, transplant! hehe.. kena tiew for a while ok wat, sakit 1 minggu, turbo forever! :P

at most oso 4G91 la....
although i really like MIVEC la...but that remains as a dream...
hav to be more realistic....hahaha

will be bringing the car to workshop tml...onli a short distance drive...around 5 mins....should be ok right??
anyway....when driving the fan is spinning ma...not so hot lo...coz tat day drive back from sunway to nilai oso like tat...sigh...risky...
me not good at wiring la...too bad la....

of coz the best option would be not to drive, but if you really have to try to avoid traffic... you dont want your car to breakdown in heavy traffic and cause a jam. you'll get dirty looks n the universal one-finger-salute to how much malaysians love traffic jams.

hope things work out for you.. 4G91 aint such a bad idea anyway =) MIVEC is a bit overpriced now, IMHO. Blame JPJ for their stupid regulations.

nilai is just one small kampung with 3 round about connecting all the main roads....
hahaha...
but today busy la....got no time to take to the workshop...
hav to study for my finals....
sigh~~
car left there for 3 days d....

transplant.....i WANT....but its kindda impossible la....better dun think too far

haha.. think about it this way, if the engine REALLY koyak n everything else is already 9 years old n is going to give way.. isnt a transplant a good idea?

just settle the problem....
turn out to be onli the air cond fan not spinning fast enough...
so hav to change something inside...
n the smell is caused by some "carbon" in that thing....(tat was wat that guy told me la)....
so...spend RM85 get that thing replaced n everything is solved.....

maybe the smoke is not coming out from the exhaust la....
i was thinkin i burn my clutch n the radiator fan blow it to the back of the car....
maybe??...who knows??
but my car is fine now la....everytin fine
clutch response oso ok.....
guess that time i really burn the clutch kau kau la....
