Help...no power...

arghhh...dammmn...

when VVT is on, the pick-up seems to be slower not faster...like VVT on, the car dragging...can feel the car won't goo...


is it because of :
i) Malpassi fuel regulator, faulty...?
- i've set to 30psi with vacum on...40 psi without vacum...

ii) VVT pulley faulty...hv to be changed...n due to that...the VVT socket , dunno what to say but the VVT that connected infront of the head with socket...dunno what's the name...this thing also possibally may be faulty...
- why i say this cuz...went to this mech shop...i ask him to adjust my tuning...while diagnosihg it...make my fuel regulator go up to 38psi, then using the timing gun...the mech say...
"ur timing is too high...got no pressure..." he said...

then "ur VVT pulley and VVT connect (on the front head) is faulty...changed it first"

the question is...is that really2 the problem...just curious...

BTW...my engine sound a little bit noisy...i think becasue of the VVT...but regardless the sound...do the problem occurs above...because of question 1) or question 2)

VVT controller's chip sudah bakar.
Very comon to BLT ECU.

Go to Chin's webside for details.

VVT pulley and connector will never mulfunction till u trash your car.

i got my VVT light...the light is on when VVT is on...everything seems to be ok...no problem...but just the dragging, the slowness...n got unwanted sound came out from the muffler..."bruuppppp" like the sound like unsificient fuel...although adjusted to higher psi...

Then the chip should be still in good shape ah.
To know the VVT solenoid is running or, just pull out the connector from the solenoid, then sambung battery + and - to the solenoid's 2 terminal. You should be able to hear a loud clicking sound. Becareful not to touch the + and - together or else u will get much more louder sound... :D.

Another simple way to see your VVT is running or not. Uplug the solenoid's connector and drive your car around and and compare your butt's feeling.

The "bruuppp..." sound from muffler could mean many things, like dirty ITB, out-setting TPS, carbon foul plugs, faulty ECU etc. What have you done b4 that?

ITB...errrr clean it with STP Carb Cleaner my self...:D
out-setting TPS...don't know how...
errr...plug...i think better check it first...cuz it's been 10,000km already...

Cleaning ITB...will do that soon...

but based on Speed Meter...haven't try it yet...cuz suspension too stiff n car not yet serviced :D...overdue already...

the VVT is running...last night changed to trumpets, tune it...clean the cable plug connector, clean the VVT socket, adjust TB butterfly, clean the MAP vacumm pipe...a little bit improvement...

today will service the engine, clean TB (not as good as EFN doing, EFN's is better)...tune it again...n will see the results...

- yesterday i've open the plug...seems to be ok...check my ECU...no such burn especially those famous burn errrr...what they call it the tansistor with hole in the middle...

- but found new thing...my ECU fuse, at the engine bay...like "membengkak"...cuz i've changed the fuse a few days ago...what's the symptom if thing like that happened...

errrr...two ways...

from VVT socket, in engine bay...+ve just connect the VVT socket, -ve to earth/ground

or

through ECU...got the see the ECU diagram 1st...ur's SVT or BLT

will give u the figure...soon cuz a bit bz today...

is that true if the main VVT pulley out of order, the sound will be noisier n becuz of that...the VVT won't response it's full potential...

if u got the vacuum meter, then u should know the normal vacuum reading is, if it is different with it, that's mean got vacuum hose leaking, may be just a little bit crack that u won't find out ....or u pull out all the vacuum hose and check it...:D
