Haltech e6 or e8..?

hey guys...i need some advice la...im using a 6a12tt now..and im planing to put it a haltech inside..one of my mechanic say use the new haltech e8...but whats the different about e6 and e8..??help me out...do they increase bhp??

i'm using e6x for my 2.0L vtec..gained 20whp..hehe..it's good..i think it depends on ur setup la bro..cheers..
