Hi.. may I ask u guys wat is the price for da6 halfcut..
got 1 chopshop quote me rm2200 for the non-lsd gearbox full set ( clutch+pedal+driveshaft+mounting+shifter+blablabla) + installation is rm2500 for whole thing..
isit reasonable? bcos i heard somebody bought da6 halfcut for only rm3500 like that..
well or just tell me what's the price for the below gearbox set or halfcut: (manual non-lsd)
B16a EG
B16a EK
B16a EF,DA
B18C Non-R

Another thing.. usually how they fix the wiring if convert auto to manual.. isit they just left all the unnecessary auto wirings at the side and cover them or they remove all the wirings and re-wire the whole system?
 
lend your thread for a question, is there any difference between the b16a in eg6,eg9 and ek4? other then the mountings?
 
driveshafts.. other than that should be same ba? .. i think usually ppl go for Ek ones bcos usually newer ones are in better condition ba
 
Yes....most of EJ owner goes to EK4 halfcut..it just plug n play if your EJ having manual transmission and halfcut oso same laa...if your EJ auto..some modification have to be made on your gear. One of my friends convert his EJ6 (manual) into EK4 B16A (manual) its only take less than 1 day (for me it only for few hours) to completed the engine and the wiring..believe it??? as your mechanic...this is truely happen here...chioww man!!! take care..
 
EK into EK quite easy i think... just plug n play... my case EK into EK took 1 month to complete... damn...

btw, b16a fr EK nowaday cost around 6.5 - 7.5K and its JDM, if SGDM shud be less than that.
 
its quite expensive nowadayss rite hattech-v.....but my friend so lucky he bougth EK4 engine completed wiring but he refuse to take body parts and trade in his existing engine only cost him RM4500....wah dam good man!!..need to get same deal as this one then it you can spare some others money for others performance parts...adioss!!

my EJ6 need to convert B16A ,. Which Haftkat can Fit it...i Wan Cheap Cheap ONe thanx...
 
if EJ better opt for EK4 halfcut ler bro.....no headache.....i was once use DA6 halfcut in my EJ....now change to EK4 edi.....

rm6500-8000 = ek4 b16a [plug & play]
rm5300-6000 = eg6/9 b16a [wiring&monting, modified] refer m/trader
rm2200-3500 = integra/ef da6/zc b16a [super mod..]

now, pls choose on ur suit! hehe.. :X-:

rm11000-14000 = b16b tapR
rm11000-13000 = b18c tapR [refer m/trader]
rm7000-7500 = b18c gsr

the price halfcut+installation+engine oil+timming belt = rm7k-7.5k?

what the diff between b18c tapR and b18 gsr?

Certain parts on the R made from better quality materials and offer better performance from the parts like the intake manifold, extractor, etc. etc. and the piston is coated to reduce friction. The ECU also more performance oriented.
 
hmm means b18c gsr is the normal integra engine wherelse b18c type R is the performance engine...like b16a and b16b??
