My Long dissapointed without end
Since you guys are releasing the anger you people have after paying so much for a car, I also have my part... this time my car is a blurry Proton Wira SE a/b 2005 MT March now its 21 000 KM... Hehehe
I tell u my version of story .. its going to be long but I wanna release myself out after making a remarkable total lost of RM53 000, I repeat RM 53 000 for this blurry piece of a junk shaped in aeroback with just some extra side skirts n a chili red color. Story Begins :
After loan approval and all, I and my gf went to the showroom in bangsar (right across Mc Donalds, Jln Telawi) to collect the car as it was ready, firstly saw the car and the new smell... waaahhh stim... nice tyres, nice 16" rims... ok la for a protong..
The joy nvr lasted long... the moment I took out the car out of the showroom the engine died as there was no more petrol... I was pissed but the joy of the new car calm me down... the salesman poured in some fuel so I can reach the nearest pertrol pump... On the downhill going back to KL i stopped to fuel up... this was not even 0.2 KM from the showroom... after fueling full tank I started driving...
Thats where my heart broke into pieces... The blurry front disc brakes were making hell of a noise a single point of the wheels rotation... I drove back to the showroom and the salesman took a test drive.. still same... after checking, there is a cover at the back of the disc brakes in the front, it was bent n touching the disc brake.. ( I went like WTF) so u tell me where is QC.. not over yet.. The salesman took out a long rod and whacked the shit out of the metal over at the back of the disc brake to seperate if from touching the disc rotor.
Done, I just manage to get over it, on the way back I bang a pod hole, and I tell u the impact on a small pod hole on the road was like a 12 tonnes trellar impact... f*ck man.... the whole dashboard feels like coming out the moment I even hit a small pod hole... I dunno its due to the wheel size or lousy OEM absorbers ?
After using it few days... the meters... the total KM's meter shown next to the tachometer... the one that shows the total KM you have travelled started to give way... it made funny noises from the back of the meters when I rev at high speed or run on an uneven road...
It never ends there again... Now my car is almost 8 months old and I have spotted 5 noises caused... My gf said its normal for protong... but, you guys tell me, I paid RM53 k+ for the car, its not even a year old, spent like 5k on the sound system... do u think I can tolerate such irratating Keek KookEK KEek Kook sound coming out from all over the car... Man my loan is for 5 years.. means I must tolerate this and cry over it for the coming 4years 4months ? Ridicilous !
It does not end still, sent the car for a service at Cheras Service Center, nearby Puspakom... they are direct SC for protong... not agent... It was my free 10 000 KM service... I bought my own engine oil, air filter, oil filter, spark plugs and gearbox oil... The engine oil I purchased was a full synthetic same goes to my gearbox oil... went down to protong for my free service... the guys back there made a long face as I was not using their items.. I was pissed firstly with the car n they made it worst... I explained politely "can do or else just say U cant do it as I am not using your products, then write it down in black and white, I shall see u guys in court" rite away they agreed to get it done, but still the guys did my car was teasing me behing my back to his other buddies abt the oil n stuffs I purchased... I bothered " Why shall we bark back at a barking dog ? "
Never ending :
Yesterday I sent my car for engine wash I opened my hood... and saw that one of the spark plug was shaking terriblely.. I shaked it and it was totally loose, loose means that I can just remove the plug with just 1-2 turns... the spark plug was actually replaced by the guy back at the SC for my 10k KM service... Wheeeww... this is really make me loose my patients.. I took the car rite away to a mechanic nearby n asked him to get it done... the guy at the mechanic could not beleive me that it was fixed by a protong SC mechanic as all the 4 spark plugs was not in place.
Noise :
The noise that I am getting for the car that is irratating me to the max is as listed :
The back door makes a keek kook kee kook sound when the car is running on a slightest uneven ground.
The tachometer.
When I shift to third gear, there is a sound coming out from the aircond... it feels like when u place a paper in front of a strong blow of wind, god knows what sound it is.
The bonnet cover, the board with carpet one's all aeroback wira has...it makes a rattling sound when runs on even ground.
Now, im blur, worried, dissappointed and reluctant to even look at a proton a.k.a protong no matter wut they do... I even complained at SC and all they say is " Memang ini model ini macam"... aww when hearing those words I feel like smashing their face with my steering lock. I loose my tolerance every end of the month where part of my income goes to the car, thats where I feel pist as my 2nd biggest investment is a "Total lost" I call.
Finally I feel they deserve a piece of my mind... Yesterday I have emailed them a piece of my mind, does not matter if they even delete it without reading it but I stated everything in a professional manner avoiding all those profinity.
Added, I will be going down to the SC on 23/12/2005 to get things clear and I will release a piece of my mind if they tell me the same thing again when I complaint about my car.
Guys you decide and tell me, where is protong QC when my car was 20 minits in age droven out from the show room started giving me problem ? What will happen to it after 2 years using it, now its only 8 months old and its giving me so much headache already ?
Some one please answer this question, its RM53K and it will take me 5 years to get it paid fully..
IS OUR NATIONAL AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY JUST A PIECE OF JUNK AS EVERYONE SAYS OR I AM JUST ONE OF THE "NASTY" AND DEMANDING CATAGORISED END USER ?
