advice i read from magazine, inspect every single inche on new car before you sign any paper !! it apply to all new car, but of course you need to pay more attention to proton new car.

pity the owner.

That's quite true to be honest. Recently Volvo have to call all of the just release Volvo s80 worldwide because of some wiring problem that could lead to short-circuit. Don't blame proton, just blame all the industry players for setting the standard in this way.

To put the blame solely on Proton is irrelevant in many ways. People have been driving Proton for 20 years and some of them are as good as 10 years old honda.

For our part as consumers, check it before you buy anything. It applies not only on cars, but other electrical goods such as microwave, refriderator, PC, etc....

get a used wira or iswara
dump in a mitsu engine!!!!!

emmm, guys i do feel tat older versions of protons are much more better than the newer versions in terms of manufacturing qualities and material.
older version do hav problems, but somehow better than newer versions.

wat u guys think?? this is just my personal opinion

ps: one of colleague owns a year 2000 1.3 wira, tat car damn problematic in terms of mechanical wise. another thing tat makes me ponder, do u guys notice how they fix the side pocket for the door panel?? they screw the plastic from inside out. damn lame stupid lah.... both sides of my colleague car fell off d...
