Glass Silicon

i seen many wira convert to evo put a dummy wiper at the rear windscreen as to look like evo...

they put the dummy wiper with glass silicon (the black color silicon) on the glass...

i want to know if the silicon will damage the glass or it can easily remove if we don't want it...
