The truth is you can't do a true drift in an FF car, but how many of us are priviledged enough to own an FR vehicle?

I'd just like to share a mod to help all the FF drivers out there get sideways more easily.

1. Depress handbrake button, and drill a *small* hole thru the handbrake handle and the button.

2. Insert a screw/pin to hold the button in.

This will help you to lock the rear wheels without having to worry abt the handbrake catching when releasing the handbrake to break the drift.

Warning: try at your own risk and always use common sense when doing DIY mods. I haven't tried this personally so don't shoot me.

tat helps....veli similar 2 wat i saw last time during da waja launch at dataran merdeka....da gwai lou named swift performed stunt on da waja without da handbrek button coz it was taken out adee....same concept.... ;)

wat i did 2 make my car slide more is botak tyre....can't really think of other mechanical thing tat'll help a FF 2 slide more....mechanical ar...not techinal...dont' shoot me :)

hey, did you have a look-ee at my handbrake?
hmmmmmmmmmm! i've got that!

Richard drilled a tiny hole to screw in a self-tapping screw..

not practical for road use. NO HANDBRAKES when left alone. NEED to constantly hold it up..
hahaha

caused a slight incident during Car-park Rally in Bukit Jalil back in 2002... hehehe

no need DIY lar
i believe CUSCO has such a handbrake
according to them its a drift e-brake knob

"No more of pushing the ebrake release.. just pull and let go... drifting has a new concept and has never been so easy!! The knob allows you to bypass the E-Brake locking mechanism"

FF=hard to drift ,but easy to handling
Aiyo, just take some super sticker to stick the hand brake button lorrr...
Easy mahh

FF cars understeer a lot lar

wat kind of super sticker
where to find so strong wan
duck tape oso not so strong

after looking at some Arab do drifting in highways.. lol.. i'm convinced that FF can drift.. but you have to carry alot of speed and learning about weigh transfer is damn important for ff drift..

But if really want to really have fun drifting.. a RWD is a must.. coz even at slow speed you can still push the car to drift..

yeah.. i got the hand brake nob shit too ;) :D

get a RWD car and sandblast your way thru hehe. a lot less troublesome than having an FF car. but hey, not many people can master drift with FF car for sure hehe.

well, i still don't admit tat FF can drift but i think it can slide or do spin  ....its matter of how crazy u r or how good u r at controlling da car .....cheers ......

those cars goes out of control like mad..

haha... me FF drifter also...
now i've started drifting in my college underground car park, between pillars, doing 180's and 90's.

i've found out that to make an FF oversteer a lot more, ppl remove/disconnect the front sway bar or use some adjustable dampers set to oversteer (front set tighter than rear)
