Dear sifus,

since my car is already 10 yrs old and sounds beginning to come from the suspension, i'm thinking of replacing all the bushing front and rear. need some expert to advice me.

1. total how many bushes for the front ? and rear?
2. how much roughly for material and workmanship cost to replace all of them?
3. is oem better or aftermarket better? like superpro?
4. any workshop to recommend?

any advice will be appreciated.

thank you.

I have no experience about the super pro neither I'm sifu, but I've been told by someone after market was the 1st choice if you have the budget. If you are not too extremely street performance orientated oem shud do a good job.

Last time I changed all my bushes, control arms, end links, steering racks, lower arms, about 1.5K, labor cost rm80. All original, brand new from Japan.

hikaru,

may i know where did you changed your bushes? total how many no of bushes did you changed for the front and rear? how do i make sure it's new from japan?

sorry to ask so much of question but i'm not that experience in cars.

thanks

But I don't think you can get all the control arms, lower arms, steering racks, ARB end link with that price, right? These are the most expensive parts in Honda undercariade.

How about when u make a u turn, then turning the streering back to 0* degree & excellerate at the same time u hear those krek, krek, krek, krek, krek till ur streeing back to a straight line.

Is that a sound of the drive shaft?

i'm planning to change all the bushes, but i need to know roughly how many bushes are there under my car so that i can be sure all of them have been replaced.

by the way, any workshop i your mind that can do a good job on this???

if can get the japan 1 will be the best, but still have to compare about the price between the lower grade one.

hope to settle this bushing problems one time

I know in sunway there are many. Or if u dun wan to go to sunway u can go to PJ Jalan Penchala 1.

anyway, how to differentiate the oem from japan and local?

again, how many bushing are there under my car?

Why on earth do you need to know the quantity of bushes there? Even if I list down the parts you also don't know where those bushes are located. Basically you just

1. replace all the bushes in the lower arm on each side.
2. replace the control arms
3. replace steering rack
4. replace knuckle ball joint
5. replace end link stabilizer for ARB

Simply put, just get everything replaced.

Any genuine Honda parts will bear the HONDA GENUINE PARTS label as seen here.

actually i just want to make sure i dont miss any of them. anyway, thanks for the advice. at least i know which part of bushing need to be replaced.

btw, any different between local/thailand oem and japan oem? all of them carry the same HONDA GENUINE PARTS label as you show us?
