down boost on e-manage

i have increase my 4g93t to 1 bar boost and tune it with e-manage. Now, if i down boost it to 0.6 bar, but dont tune my e-manage back, what will happen? engine running super-rich? or e-manage will adjust accordingly by itself?

actually what i want to achieve is better fuel economy, so is it better for me to down boost?

Nothing will happen to your engine...

Just the following:
Engine feels sluggish = due to too rich. Engine response feel heavy.
Carbon accumulation on the piston crown = due to unburnt fuel remained in the engine.
Possibility of back fire

Fuel consumption wise, bad and not effective.

No, e-manage will not adjust by itself. But ur OEM ECU will try. But only up to a certain extend. Even the, it's also during close loop(Idle n cruise)

Advise, retune.

last time i boost at 1.3bar with emanage tune...my fuel as if oem factory

can... can adjust on the thread of the actuator rod connected to the internal wastagate. loosen it. release the exhaust abit to reduce the boost.

depends on how you step. And OEM is normally tuned to a little richer AFR to be on the safe side.

dat's slightly higher than my prev gsr with afc neo also tuned at 1bar..my prev was ard 21cents/km with normal driving(not boost all the time, just when overtake cars)..urs is 27cents/km..

If not mistaken, putra GB quite long... 10+km/h @ 3000rpm @ 5th gear.

maybe because bikerz is driving around Uni.... And short short distance where most of the time is running on h within the campus. And it's not fuel efficient.
