Cruising while holding at vtec point

Any1 here using racing cam with exhaust ever tried holding at d vtec point while driving. I have thou, and when i hold it at vtec point. It produces a note at d exhaust- tak tak tak tak tak. Sounds cool thou. Any1 here ever experience? How abt any bad side effect like worn rocker?

I dunno.

I'd rather let the engine cruise at a lower RPM.

Although 4th sudah langgar limiter @ 7k rpm, shifting into 5th will still hit the speed limiter, but at crossover point.
